Best way to do it will be to allocate sections based on season tickets/ loyalty points; some will miss out but it filters the day trippers out

They should just keep a section back for those with loyalty points which proves they have been to at least 3 games this season that would do the job, I think the big problem is they give it all over to ticket master who will sell them to anyone.

What we need is a sniff of a goal to get the fans going.. Not had that in last two trips...

I remember last time, there was a better seating plan than this...you could see exactly which seats were which prices....

I'll have to wait until Thursday morning. Memories of my last two visits to the new Wembley were that the seats we got were awful. Its just not the same when you're so far away from the pitch.

Hoping there are some good ones available when I need to book. Also taking my little boy with me - not sure if I should bother with the allocated family section or not?

When I was logged on earlier this morning, it was clear that they are only selling in a limited number of blocks at the moment and presumably will be releasing more later.  I had to choose and then delete from my 'basket' a couple of times to be able to get a feel for what the difference is between the different Categories before I made a final choice, if that's any help to others.

Mildly irritating that I don't quite have enough loyalty points to be able to buy tickets now, but the allocation is big enough to not worry me. Would be great if something gets organised to get a bunch of regulars together to actually have some atmosphere for a change.

They havent put all the blocks on sale yet. Expect more blocks to be made available as more are sold so even from Thursday onwards its likely that some good tickets will become available.

If someone wants to buy this day-tripper a ticket and organise my transport, I'll be there.

one thing I learned from the last two visits is that it makes no difference. You'll have day trippers sat by loyals and people who get priority tickets next to those who buy them late on.

There will be plenty to go around.  They have only allocated just over 30,000 to each club so far.

How do you find out what view each category is? Incredible pricing. No discount for students or u18's. Mad.

Got some tickets in Block 111. Directly behind some mates, too! Awesome. Even dragged the girlfriend along for this one!

The old man has got us tickets in 213 apparently, shame we're not in 111 too but at least we're in the block behind.

Tickets ordered in minutes, and coach ordered via National Express direct to Wembley.

This is what happened in 2010.  They only released specific blocks at a time.  We got ours early and then better seats were released a few days later.  It's difficult to know whether to wait a few days to see if the same happens.

According to the adver, FGW might be putting some trains on after all...

Someone asked FGW that question yesterday ( may have seen it posted on the Swindon FB page ) and the reply was no due to Network rail engineering works.

On Swindon rail station today a poster said that planned engineering work for 23 - 28 May had been reduced to 23 - 24 May i.e. including the Sunday. They reduced the dates once. Will they do it again?!

Yep, same. Bit shit that there isn't a third phase to distinguish between the semi-regulars (I.e. those like me who live out of Town but still get to as many as they can) and the complete one off daytrippers really. Makes the whole points system a bit redundant. Although to be fair they haven't got a lot of time to sell them I suppose.

Two family members have season tickets and have been to several away games so have the required points total to buy tickets today. However, this was all done in person at the store and never online and as such, they have no log-in details for e-ticketing. How do they go about getting tickets?

They phone up the store and state their season ticket number and reference number if they have one.

I'd activate their STs online if not already done and see if the points are there.

I'm impressed, 7 pages and we haven't vanished into a maelstrom of panic yet about people not being able to get tickets!  Shall be getting them on general sale, well, my wife will be online to do it.

I bought 20 yesterday no probs. It's only 9 per client number. Had to take what it gave me though Jo. Couldn't find anyway of choosing specific seats or rows other than playing the system and sticking loads in your "basket" and the deleting the ones you don't want. Pretty long process that one though - and it might time you out!

No.  They allocate the row and seat numbers, otherwise there would be odd single seats in lots of places that would be hard to sell.

Well if people who have been to games nearly all season can't get a ticket until tomorrow I guess we will be behind (I'm not bitter  ;) )

Think they were complaining that people who haven't been all season but bought a ticket for the home leg got priority over others that had been to loads of games. They have no loyalty points system like we do.

Thanks guys, I thought there was no way you could specify.  The block we would prefer currently only has £80 seats on sale.  I just don't know whether to wait until they release the cheaper ones or go elsewhere.  I wish they'd just release them all at once to be honest.  It's not exactly cheap, so would be nice to sit where we want.

I can understand your frustration mate. I'd be the same in your position. By the sounds of things though, we'll have sold a maximum of about 7k before tomorrow. If you can't find yourself a decent seat from the remaining 23k then you're probably a little too fussy. :-)

They release in blocks to cut down on the areas they need to staff if they under sell, it's a stadium thing really.  They do the same with Twickenham as well.

So block 110... given me the option of £30, £40 or £52, presumably the more expensive tickets will have you higher up / further back. Such hard work deciding!!!

Worked for me once I was in, Block 111 Row 17 Seat 243. £40 plus the usual rip-off fees. Still quite a few tickets in the relevant blocks, don't panic guys and gals.

It's complicated, all 24 teams get a slice of ticket sales, but with an increased proportion of wembley sales and tv etc, we'll clear about a million according to LP

My 11 year old went to Millwall and Chesterfield.  He's  a ST holder, so would never have not taken him.  My 7 year old is coming this time though as well even though he's only ever been to one game.  I'm not sure how that's going to pan out, might have to take his Samsung tablet in case he gets bored!

I'm taking my 6-year old to his first ever game of live football! Let the indoctrination begin!

Chose middle tier on the side (224) because I hated the view I had for Millwall (3 rows from the front) and Chesterfield (middle row behind the goal) - Just can't work out whats going on and found myself watching the large screens more than the actual game, which is pointless. I'm also tubing it to Wembley Park so my boy can get the whole Wembley Way experience and maybe get him a flag.

I had a similar problem with missing emails. I was able to change the email on file by logging into my account and then resent the tickets to the new email address. HOWEVER, you do need to know your password first  :)

I do know the password I put in, it just won't accept it.

Unfortunately having the maximum amount of fans there isn't the priority for wembley, it's the maximum amount of £££. They'd have only opened up a selection of middle blocks and a few more top tiers by now otherwise.

According to someone on twitter (which obviously makes it 100% true) we've sold about 15.5k tickets so far.

If true that's not bad going at this point, through I'd really want to see us take the full 30k!

But they could have opened up a few of the top tier block behind the goal and a few less of the middle blocks in the corners that are currently green. They seem quick enough to open up the more expensive blocks to entice people but not the cheaper ones.

It is odd.  I haven't got my tickets yet, because would like 103 or 104.  I'm starting to worry that they might not be opened up at all and then I'll be a bit buggered! There's nothing in the side blocks for under £80 atm unless you want a ticket on it's own.

Anyone got an update of what Preston are on? They've been a championship club a lot more recently than us, but then we're closer to London, so it could be close which of us sells the most.

4 in block 113 booked earlier today.  They always tend to sell the top tier in odd blocks, it's the same for other clubs.  Sometimes I'm sure it's down the TV camera angles.

I think they sell the side opposite the main cameras first to give the illusion of it being full from most angles. I'm hoping we hit the 30k allocation.

Norwich will have 38,000 tickets if they get there (as will Ipswich if they win) but they are going to sell theirs from the Carrow Road ticket offices as well as by telephone, only one ticket per member/season ticket!  Ticket office is opening for 12 hours every day!  Tickets are slightly more expensive than ours.

Talking to a Watford mate at work today, and he was moaning that Palace beat them a few years back as they got 200 or so of their singers in one block. All the Watford ones were dotted around and there was no atmosphere in their end, hence Palace raised their game. Straws and clutching etc, but the signs are starting to mount up... It usually seems that way, but this time it doesn't for us as we generally approach from the West, being West and Preston will come in via the North into Euston won't they (well, if there were any trains)?  Reckon they chose it pre semi final and probably hedged on Preston vs. Sheff Utd.

It actually doesn't matter that much, you just aim for the nearest tube to your end I would have thought, and got off at that station. It would only really matter if you walked from Swindon or Preston.

The Palace group are well organised though, Holmesdale Fanatics, all sit in the bottom corner of the stand.  Reckon they probably arranged to go together - such large groups are rare  in English football.

Reported on another site that they sold 16000 on the first day. Would expect them to easily bring 35,000+, what with them being so mahoosive.

They'd sold about 15k a day a go, but they don't go on full general sale until Saturday - they've done what we've done in the past and had various stages.  I like our approach because we'll never fill the place.

Yes but they were selling to people with a ticket stub from the play off home leg so adding on the STHs they should have sold alot in the first few days.

I already have my ticket and I wouldn't want a category 5 (£30) ticket. But I know many people that will want to just buy the cheapest tickets on offer. It is poor that there are currently none of these on sale and it may affect the number we take. I understand why they do this block by block sale to save on costs of opening it. But our past occasions at Wembley have proven we will take around our total allocation. There are only 3 blocks open in the upper tier and none of them have category 5 tickets. Even the club have even said on twitter they may not get the authorisation to open the upper tier. I really do hate Wembley and the way it is run to make money. The magic of Wembley and thinking about the fans really isn't considered at all. Really will be a shame if we have empty blocks.

I'm a bit annoyed that league 2 fans get things slightly better. I can sort of understand their tickets being cheaper, but it looks to me like their categories are different for the same seats. e.g. mine is cat 2, but for their playoff it looks like cat 3. why?

I had a quick click around and I can't even find a block you can buy 2 x £40 tickets now. From the looks of it, unless we sell all of the more expensive seats, they won't open any more blocks. Truly shocking.

Just remember that the semi finals were £15 and £12 (for most). Absolute bargain making a little bit of a saving on what most thought they'd cost.

And the fact that the seating plan on the online ticket system marks blocks that haven't been made available as sold out is wrong too. It will lead to some fans thinking they have to pay more to get a ticket. And others to probably not bothering at all.

I am not complaining about the prices. They don't bother me. I just want a sold out Swindon end and am thinking that this will put others off.

Wembley is not the 'home of football'.  It's a corporate behemoth that swallows cash.  It's wasteful and over-engineered and we're all paying for that.

The decision to flog the expensive seats up front is quite deliberate.  The FA know that the fans of most clubs will only get to visit a couple of times a decade (if that)...and so will look the other way when they're clearly being ripped off.

I can't understand why they've released top tier seats in areas where the blocks in front haven't been released?  It's going to look a bit odd if those blocks remain empty.  Why not release seats above blocks that are already nearly full?

Its the seats by the tunnel so I am guessing so. They are the ones always empty for the first 15 min of each half for any game there. I think all the lower and middle tier blocks have been opened. Then just 3 in the upper.

One of the blocks in the upper tier is nearly sold out. And the few lower blocks I tried to get 3 seats in are unavailable. So that must mean that they're either not together or there aren't 3 seats in those blocks.

Only got myself (and others) to blame, because I was waiting on other people before getting tickets. Now all the decent side seats within our price range are gone.  Top tier is too high for children, so if those blocks are all corporate and nothing else gets released, we won't be going.  

Blocks 101, 102, 103 and 104 have been showing as unavailable from the start.  Surely they can't all be corporate? I tried speaking to the box office and they were bloody useless.

They should be available as £62 seats. Block 101 iare Wembley seats, I believe. Check out the football league website

It's probably a barrier to keep the riff raff away from the Club Wembley section.

The idea that anyone should have to pay £62 to watch a game of football is preposterous.

They should really open up blocks 510-512 to give the behind the goal top tier option. If we continue to sell that and the side top tier blocks can meet in the middle, open up one either side.

To have sold out dead set behind the goal in the bottom tier and almost sell out behind the goal in the middle tier and not have a top tier behind the goal option lacks common sense, so the only explanation is typical wembley greed. It would open up a whole load of £30 and £40 tickets.

So is the thought that anoyne should pay £27 for a Div 3 game ( particularly a practice match ) but that isn't a barrier for STFC

Just spoke to the Box Office and the chap said based on how they usually release seats, the next block to be released will be 504 and then they will release the top tier seats on the opposite side.  That means the cheapest seats in the top tiers will only be released if the others all sell.  Money grabbing bastards!

As NE have a contract with Wembley its worth checking from wherever you are if there's a coach to the stadium. Could work out a lot cheaper.

Third time at Wembley in 5 years, the team barely turned up the last two times, transport is a massive ball ache this year and Wembley are being greedy cunts making it difficult to access the amount of tickets you want in the cheaper seats if you can get any at all.

So it's actually 3 visits in 6 years to be precise (sorry to be an annoying prick). But that's still a lot and when you think how close we were to beating Peterborough in the JPT it could have easily been 4 out of 6.

Over that same period I would be surprised if anyone has been there more often. With that in mind, it will be very interesting to see how many we take this time round.

I know alot of people that have been to the last 2 games at Wembley, but aren't bothering this time. Comments made to me at a wedding reception tonight were either both times they've been, we were shit and they don't want to waste money on the same thing happening again or they feel they're a jinx.

Fair enough, but I can't wait for my day out.  I have my carer booked in , a beautiful British nurse and I'm on the coach. The Torch is where we land in this year and I think anything can happen. Don't say anything about the nurse please, its early days.

So Preston have sold 16.5k and they're not even at General Sale yet? They have an average home attendance of 10k, so assuming they have about 7k season ticket holders, that would mean every season ticket holder has bought 2 or more. That's not completely unreasonable. Let's just hope they don't have a day where they sell 10,000 in a day when it goes on General sale.

I'm helping to organise a coach from home town of Warminster...family and all that....usually fills up in two days.....this time it's a struggle, so we are stuck with a mini coach thing.

I think going by how it is we will get between 25k and 27k I know a fair few people who haven't decided yet but who almost certainly will be going.

I am sure we did have £30 tickets available, all sold (Preston have those in the lower blocks, like we had).  They've probably just checked each section and tried to buy 2,3,4 etc.  That's an indication of how sold out the block is.
We have four blocks available up top right now, three in reality as the first one is all but sold.  Preston appear to be having blocks released exactly as ours have been, they sell the side the camera's view first up top, then they seem to sell the other side rather than behind the goal.

I'm also sure that the cheap seats at the back of the top tier didn't go on sale the last couple of times either.  I'd imagine this must be a Wembley/FA related thing.  It would look odd everyone sat at the back and the front being empty.  Not sure if the club can do anything to get those seats released or not?  Presume they were not in the original allocation (80k are available usually, with 10k reserved for Club Wembley members, FL etc. so we are allocated 10k less than our end can hold).

It would be marvellous to have a full 30000 cheering the boys on and if the ticket prices were slightly more appealing then we would have, but some people are still out of work or minimum wage and unfortunately as much as a visit to Wembley to see your side is exciting you have to prioritise. Unfortunately the FA don't care about the fans it's corporate all the way then the odd stragglers and general sale at the groung on the day robbing swines

Really don't buy any of this 'the FA are screwing us' rubbish, nor calling their bluff by holding off to save a few quid. Obviously they're going to withhold the top tier behind the goal until they're needed. Makes perfect sense and would be the case for every event, irrelevant of sport etc.

Now going through the process of purchasing two more play off final tickets, this time for the Monday! Getting expensive, hotel booked on top of cost of travel.

The club were going through the tickets on Tuesday, and then these had to be sent to Ticketmaster for them to be sent out.

Today is the last day to book seats with SAS Travel as the coaches have to be ordered tonight.

We will only be ordering the number of coaches that we have filled when we close at 4pm today.

I don't think I could ever predict the mind of a "fair weather fan". I wasn't surprised we had 30k plus against Millwall. It was 17 years since the last time plus this was the new all singing, all dancing Wembley.

I was more surprised that we took 30k plus against Chesterfield for a tin pot cup final that doesn't really mean that much. Yes I would have loved to win it but it wasn't long since we last went there and I would definitely not hold it in such high regard as a play off final.

Now we have a BIG game and looks like we'll struggle to 22k, if that. It's quite bizarre really. My only thoughts are perhaps the prices were lower for the JPT and dare I mention the PDC factor?! Other than that I'm bemused.

I think our Italian manager helped a lot of non-Town fans make their Wembley decision in 2012. It's incredibly harsh to think that some people are not going because of the manner of our previous two losses at Wembley. Only Foderingham remains from our last trip.

Swindon Town are a small team, 30,000 includes a hell of a lot of 'soft spot' Swindon fans - we can't attract them every time. Especially without the trains and the 1730 kick off on a Bank Holiday weekend.

SAS Travel reporting slow bus ticket sales, 62 coaches sold for Millwall and they doubt they will sell out 40, whatever the reasons it's a real shame that people are not to coming out to support the team.

Has real trouble getting a coach in south wilts. Bank holiday weekend though, so some would of been booked up before.

It's a real shame that the fact we got to Wembley in the JPT Final now seems to be having a direct impact on the numbers going to this one.  Personally I'd rather have had a shit crowd for a nothing final and a good one for an important one.

In some blocks, it doesn't appear that any tickets have been sold since Friday, as the same seats are coming up that were available then.

People can't really buy any later rhan Tuesday otherwise there's a risk the tickets won't get here in time.  Can't see there suddenly being a mad rush.

You can get them on the day. Still, i think there should be a last push to by local media to encourage people to go. Whatever happens, we just need to make sure we're a lot more vocal.

I think this sums it up quite nicely. I know several people who went previously and are not going now. The bottom line is they can't be arsed regardless of cost time trains etc. They'll watch it at home or in a pub. Although I'm disappointed I can't really blame them. I thought wed be lucky to take 25 it looks like my pessimism was actually optimism.

It's a shame if that crowd is down, but inevitable really. A massive proportion of people would have gone as a one-off against Millwall or Chesterfield. Of course they're less likely to go again. On the plus side, you'll get served at the bar quicker, get away quicker (hopefully straight into a pub to celebrate), and unlike that last two occasions, there might be an atmosphere.... If we get promoted I think our average will rise from 7k to between 7.5k and 8k. Teams like Leeds etc attract numbers. If we stay up it can only go up. Slow and steady wins the race... I guess. Good old optimism.

We averaged 7980 or very similar this season, we'd average over 10 in the league up, probably more.

In many ways I do agree but there are a lot of things this weekend that count against us such as train travel not being available from Swindon as I am sure that for the JPT we had many thousand (5k+) day trippers travelled up on the train.

There is also a lot of apathy about "new" Wembley after our last 2 visits.

Saying that its still no excuses, when I was a young lad/adult I could only dream about going to Wembley and reliving the 1969 LC win which was drummed in me from a young age by my Town supporting family. Then when I was 23 we got there and that made me crave going back for more.

I missed the play off with 'wall due to a family wedding but I won't miss us going there again, for all its cost and faults its still Wembley and for football fans thats the Mecca and many teams will never get to Wembley and never have been.

I am determined to enjoy the day no matter what result as for me this season has been a massive bonus culminating in a trip to Wembley....they don't get a lot better than that.

At the end of the day 99.99% of people who actually go to games, I mean the mundane, everyday games in League 1, will be going to Wembley. The fact that there looks to be a decline in casual day trippers shouldn't really bother anyone. If (and it's a fucking big if) we do get promotion, the hoped for increase in attendance will come from the 20,000+ that will be there, not the 10,000 odd that won't.

Wembley used to be a once in a lifetime for many clubs but the play offs mean it comes around more regularly and for most teams. Even if you go out of the league you've got a chance like Grimsby. As a lifetime experience it has been devalued by the prices haven't. Play offs at Wembley were a cynical fan exploitation tool that is running out of steam. Looking at the semi final attendance's show fans are getting fucked off with it.

The excuses reasons have already been mentioned several times (5-30 KO on a Sunday, lack of trains from and back to Swindon, over-priced tickets etc) but, for all that, 19K is disappointing.  I don't get the excuse about having been to Wembley a couple of times in the last 5 years.  That's just bollocks.

Two adult and two junior tickets have cost me just short of £200.  That's without factoring in the cost of travel, food, drink and the flags/hats/god knows what the boys will want to buy.  We'll probably be looking at nearer £350 in total.

I'm currently on maternity leave, so money is quite tight and really our priorities should be elsewhere.  However, I couldn't miss it, so I've banged it all on the credit card and will worry about it later.  I can fully understand other families who don't really follow Swindon not being able to justify that sort of cost.  You can get a long weekend at Butlins or somewhere for similar money.

Sorry to sound rude as I don't know you but FFS! Games like this are potentially what lifetime memories are made of. Many of us have families. I've got 4 kids myself but I'm breaking the bank so that perhaps one day they can look back on the day they saw the Town do them proud at Wembley. I'm going to have to disagree with a number of the comments/views expressed in the last few pages of this thread.  The pricing policy decided by Wembley Stadium plc (or whatever they're called) turns attending this game in to a luxury purchase for most.  Getting a family of 4 to this game - incl ticket price, travel, food & drink - will cost between £300 & £400 for the day.  And all for a game that you can watch in the pub for free anyway.

If anyone thinks that football is still 'the people's game', here's your proof that it is not.  Wembley's owners will have priced thousands of our fans out of attending with these ridiculous ticket prices.  Times are still hard and while Swindon is a good place to find a job, many of those jobs provide modest incomes.  A lot of our fans will simply not have the disposable income to be able to spend that kind of money on a day out at the football.

So if we do see a sharp drop in the number of seats filled by Swindon fans at Wembley this time around, it won't be because 10,000 of us have simultaneously decided that we don't give a #### any more.  The number of people on here willing to question the motivations of folk they don't even know is astonishing, and misguided.

The reason for the drop in the attendance will be much simpler: the cost.  People know when they're being ripped off.  If the owners of Wembley are smart, they will sit up and listen.  And maybe, in future, they will start charging a reasonable price for games like these that the working man can afford.

Listen, everyone has the choice to go or not. I'd not decry anyone who decided not to go if I was, equally others who are going should not decry me or others for our decision not to go either. I hope the outcome for us is positive but the club will survive and I'll be back next season all be it in a limited capacity, but back never the less which is more than I can say for the surplus of fans over 8000......if we don't go up.

Surely the apathy shown towards STFC isn't unique for a football club of our size & stature?...I get why people want to attend but also understand the reasons why people don't...I'd love it to be like the old days where we are scrambling for tickets but sadly football has lost it's mojo and what comes with that is people that are a little bit meh about the whole thing. Reading back through this... it makes me laugh/cringe with the whole 'real fan' debate. If you support the team, then you support the team. There seems to be this whole trend with football fans on forums and social media, whereby they have to state exactly how long they've been supporting their team, how many times they've been this season etc. If you have other commitments and can't make a game (whatever the type, league/cup etc), it apparently makes you a 'plastic' or 'not as loyal' as some. That's not the case, it just means you have a different set of priorities.

My stag do next year is on a weekend during the football season, and my wedding is on a weekend at the end of April, which will obviously right towards the end of the season. This means more to me than a couple of games.

Additionally, the 'day tripper' thing annoys me too. Surely we should be welcoming them, rather than slagging them off? If they want to wear Jesters hats or wigs... or even face paint, why does anyone have the right to criticise them for it? This would assume that the Football League/Wembley (a) are competent, and (b) care.

There was some £30 ones left at general sale but went very quickly. I looked at Prestons sales they are pretty much like ours maybe a few more and theirs haven't gone on general release yet. There is no marketing from the club they've banged the advertiser from any press conferences so they can't be blamed for not encouraging more ticket sales. The club needs to help itself get something to entice families to attend a promotion towards next season if you attend freebies for kids anything to get younger kids to pester the family in going. The season has finished have the marketing team gone on holiday?

Devils advocate and everything.... why would the club spend time and money using their tiny office staff promoting an event that they receive a small slice of revenue from? Anyone who might go isn't going to be swayed by a half-pag ad in the Adver or a facebook post are they.

But the club receive a hefty pay out due to reaching Wembley and as stated before if we perform this time that might encourage more people to return throughout the season. Plus more fans more noise willing the team to victory were a big enough town to have a bigger following. 

Come on, this is a playoff final on the back of a 5-5 drawn that received massive national coverage.

Marketing is not needed, a complete and utter waste of time, money and effort.

But something needs to be done, we could be in the Championship next season.

Why? Anyone who wants to go and can go will go.

I think people completely forget how tiny the back office team at a football club is, and how much they'll have to do this week. The last thing they're going to do is hand out flyers, or the digitial equivalent, to something that's already being covered pillar to post in every local media outlet, and nationally.

No you're quite right a halftime pasty wouldnt convince many but for a town of this size why are sales so bloody low?  I'm not into marketing so what is needed is beyond me

Difficult one really because; say (for arguments sake) we sell 21,000, that's three times the amout of home fans we have at most league games. In many other sports this would be deemed a success.

Although, I'm surprised that if we were to 'only' take 21,000, that's only 2/3's of what we've taken on the last two occasions. Which, I'm sure people will agree, is amazing when you think the JPT is less important than the PO final. Could this be solely down to the fact that the team never turned up on the other two occasions? Is it through fear that divot in the 18 yard box on the west side of the ground hasn't been mended yet?

The lack of cheap tickets being made available has taken its toll on our sales. Sure, they made some £30 seats availed but now its too little too late. SAS travel are not taking anymore coach bookings and there's no trains from Swindon. The average floating supporter will now think its not worth the effort and watch it on tv instead. Who can blame them.

I don't think people are giving it a miss due to the £30 tickets. It's that we have had 2 trips there recently and that the experience of it left much to be desired.

I don't even think its much to do with the experience. Day trippers have been to Wembley twice in the last five years. We aren't a very well supported club really, it's not bad considering the size of Swindon but in general, not great.

This is an element of it, but I also think that the currently feeling around the club, particularly this season hasn't been a buoyant one - is it the way we play ? is it the post Di Canio era ? is it the whole Jed/Power and fans getting treated like shit issue ?  I don't know.

2 more blocks have turned red since the 19,000 tweet from @STFCstore yesterday afternoon, so sales are trickling along..

Block 123 which oddly seems to be on Preston's side of the ground. They don't seem to have split the segregation exactly down the middle which would explain why 102 and 103 weren't put on sale for our fans. 104 also on sale.

So more lower tier tickets now. Not only will this infuriate people wanting them to open the £30 tickets, but also the ones who bought on the top or middle tier because they couldn't initially get as many as they wanted together in the bottom tier.

Seems to only be one more seat available in 117 where I am.

104 was one of the blocks I would have liked, but couldn't take the risk of continuing to wait to see if it was released while decent seats elsewhere went.

I'm pissed off, as the seats available now in that block are far better than the ones I've paid the same price for in the middle tier on a corner.

Fair play, really refreshing to see a player with his attitude.

 Got to say that the whole ticketing exercise has not been handled at all well by Wembly/e-ticketing/Football League and to a certain extent the Town themselves. Everything was far too rushed, too many seats allowed per person, too expensive in many areas and the allocation initially restricted to certain blocks only. It is no wonder that the take up is below what was expected and it may be that people are holding off but from conversations I have had a fair number of the "plastics" are not bothering.

I just trust all the hassle will be worth it come Sunday night.

Based on the blocks Rovers had yesterday and the PNE sales it does seem to be the same for all so it must be the league or the ticket sites.
There were £30 seats on day one. They were behind the goal first few rows.  Both clubs should apply whatever pressure they can to release a block or two with the cheap seats.

Yeah, some poor fucker having fit was another low light in 93... I queued for hours and some fuckers just strolled up and bought them. Some surveyors tape and a few bollards would of done the trick..but we're are swindon......

Another block turned red tonight so that's 5 now and shit loads on minimal tickets. It's slowly creeping up so at least were still selling some. Those blocks with only a few left in them will look packed out. The atmosphere will be electric because we're Swindon and our away support is out of this 🌍  COYR

Saying on another thread there, official figures for them this afternoon were 14.5k sold. If that's right along with our 20, Wembley had better release those cheapo's fast. heading for a record low attendance at the moment.

Can't get three £40 tickets together any more either, another block please Wembley. If they have any sense they'll open 505 and keep going along towards the scoreboard. If they open 526 or 525 instead then that proves the 'extra stewarding' excuse is bollocks.

I think it's only been mentioned in terms of the kick off being later.  Why is the Premier League finishing later this year, it's usually finished by Bank Holiday weekend isn't it?  The FA Cup Final is really late as well.

That's been open for a couple of days now and the price range is £40-52 so not the £30 that some are waiting for. Looking around our allocated seats there are very few available in the orange sections and virtually none sat together, this should encourage Wembley to open more to allow families friends sit together in affordable seats.

Took my money on Thursday. The reality is this is just the time between point of sale and clearing your bank (I bought on Tuesday at 9.45am).


Recorded delivery is a pain in the bum if you're working so that suits me fine :)
