Genuine question.

I think even if the trains were running normally (for a Sunday), there would still be travel issues...

Plus for me, a cup final should always be a 3pm KO. However, that's not why I'm not going.

I would have gone by train but the last train back here from Waterloo is 8pm (standard Sunday service) so thats cutting it very fine and its £43 each and theres 3 of us going. I decided I will drive up though as that costs about £30 return for me so its a no brainer, I just have to not drink more than a couple.

I agree with some of your comments theakston, but I don't think 20k will always be our natural limit for a Wembley visit.

it's possible to grow the club. others have managed it from historically shit attendances (reading, Swansea), but it would take massive investment in infrastructure and team to try and do so. And there are no guarantees.

not sure where a sugar daddy would come from, but I live in hope rather than expectation.
Possibly, But it would take a 'sugar daddy' to do this. At the minute we are in a delapidated stadia that hasn't changed for over 20 years, we've had more financial problems than 'you can shake a stick at' and lots of crooks leaching from the club in the meantime. Power is doing a good job but does anyone really know what direction the club is heading? So the numbers are hardly surprising and I don't think the impact of Jed & co can be understated. For the previous 2 visits people were at least happy with the ownership side of things, I still think a lot of people are unsure over what to think about the club at present.
I'm just not surprised by the sales at all, it's broadly what I was expecting as there are just so many factors that have caused to put people off, also I genuinely believe there are quite a few that expect us to lose and so haven't bothered.

They've now opened up just blocks 102 and 103. I guess these are the 250 tickets.
