I wasn't going to go, but was offered tickets and couldn't really turn it down.

First game of the season. I'm a proper plastic daytripper.

When was the last time a sales total was made public? I keep looking at this thread for an update but it kind of went off topic at least 5 pages ago...

I do think it would help if they released a block of £30 tickets and pushed them - how likely I do not know.  Yesterday's game with Rovers showed it's sold block by block.

5pm that one isn't it. Not a great deal of difference I know.
Can't fathom that one unless it still falls foul of the no KOs before 5 rule by virtue of the fact its a Saturday  Roll Eyes

Yesterday STFCstore said we were up to 19000 and sales had slowed right down

Can't see too many more being sold this week

Will be 20,000, but over three quarters of that will be genuine fans that make 4 or 5 games a season minimum I should think. All those people that I heard moan wanting the plastics to fuck off the last two times have got their wish, but as someone above pointed out they're also the ones complaining we don't have the usual 30,000. Can't have it both ways.

I wonder if there'll be some £30 - £40 tickets made available for the on the day ticket buyers?

I just dont get why they would withhold £30 tickets surely if they can see sales have slowed right down then opening these blocks makes sense I spoke to 2 people yesterday who go now and again but wont pay over £30 for a ticket.

I suspect it does Sky always make a big whiney deal that they cannot legally show La Liga games at 3.00pm on a Saturday as its against the law?

I think its worth contacting the club about this...its a valid point..there are NO 30 quid tickets avaialbe at the mo. Surely wembley have an obligation to offer tickets at all prices?

Dont think the club are doing a great job of marketing the tickets to be honest, not seen much on official site or social media promoting the tickets! Surely there should be £30 tickets available....

I didn't think any had been released at all, but somebody seemed to think there were some initially.  They obviously went pretty quickly, probably before tickets went on general sale.

Definitely nowhere near as much as the last two Wembley visits.  Power will be moaning if we don't take more than 20,000, but maybe he needs to give the club a kick up the ass re marketing.

Although fans are clearly being ripped off, Those £30 seats are bloody awful. They should be paying people to sit in them.
