Owing to a opticians appointment I was forced to make a rather rare visit to the middle of Swindon.  There were two little portable stalls selling STFC memorabilia in Regent Street (obviously not official merchandise) - didn't see them make one sale in the time I was there!  What also struck me as I travelled in and out that there was only one shop in Gorse Hill that had a STFC flag in the window (Robin Phillips' chip shop) and absolutely nothing in the town centre whatsoever.  This seems to be turning out to be a non-event as regards the club engaging with supporters!

There are areas on our availability now showing orange that yesterday were red?  You couldn't second guess the number of tickets we've sold  Hmmm

The johnstone paint trophy final got its own shop in the Brunel.

It's incredible how this has turned out to be less significant than the fucking JPT final.

I think the poor ticket sales (To day trippers, not fans) shows the general apathy of the Town towards the football club. There's definitely work that could be done to improve it, but it needs to come from the club and at the moment that's the one area I feel Power hasn't got to grips with. If only Cooper spoke with an Italian accent and was prone to tantrums.....

Haven't you just answered your own question?  Owing to a policy of managed decline for Swindon town centre over the last 20 years or so, people tend not to go there any more unless they absolutely have to.  It was all rather different in the 1980s and before when the place served as a genuine hub for the whole of the town, and beyond.

Still waiting. Ordered early on Thursday morning, money came out of account yesterday. Mate who ordered straight after me, living in Edinburgh already has his. Hoping get them tomorrow!
