But surely the person would use common sense and contact the customer asking if it was genuine?

I was never going to be a pushy father but i don't think i could imagine watching my eldest (6) grow up and not wanting to play football.
Aside from kicking a ball around the garden its never really interested him. I was proper chuffed when he asked if he could start after school football training this week.

I wasn’t going to a pushy Dad but then I told my son I expect him to break Lloyd Macklin & Paul Rideouts records for youngest player and youngest goal scorer respectively.

They're well...boring. I was playing for Croft Juniors when I was his age but I guess times have changed.

So you openly admit to finding his interests boring but expect him to be interested in yours? It takes two to tango.

I was shit at all sports. I still am.

I resent being made to play sports at school. I was a weak kid who was humiliated once a week because of adults making me do stuff I couldn't do, I fucking hated it. I hated them. If I could, I would go back and tell them what a bunch of cunts they are. Especially one particular cunt of a teacher (I forget his name) who would laugh at me for being so bad. I'm not so weak now, sunshine.

There's no way I will force my kids into sports or anything else if they don't want to. Let them do what they're good at instead.

My brother-in-law has tried to encourage his boys into football, because he doesn't like it and felt left out as a kid. I told him they'll like what they like. Teach them not to give a give a fuck what people think of their preferences, that's much more important.

I wanted to study computers at school but they said I was too academically qualified, but they were happy to have me run around in a cold field for an hour once a week.

What?
