This probably should be in the winds me up thread, but it was so blatant it actually made me smile....

We are building a new bathroom in what was formerly part of the integral garage and thus are at the tiling stage. My missus went and bought all the tiles from Wickes last week and we are on with fitting them. One of the boxes looked like it had been opened but had been carefully taped up so didn't think much of it, however when we get to said box and opened it to use the tiles it transpires that every tile in the box had had a corner knocked off it, the amusing thing is that someone has taken all the tile debris and broken bits out of the box, then carefully resealed it for sale, now I cannot believe that Wickes would accept the tiles back from a customer without checking them so it must be their staff who have done this, I had to laugh at the bloody cheek of it!

This being on the back of the store assistant putting the transaction through the tills twice and charging the credit card twice which also now has to be refunded, it was not a fruitful visit.

We would get things delivered, however, despite Travis Perkins being able to get a 4 axle rigid lorry to our property Wickes drivers are unable to deliver with a small basic 7.5 tonner and just cancel the order as they cannot deliver. They are embarrassingly bad!
TP don't run 4axle rigid lorries.

This has the makings of an epic TEF argument.  Popcorn

Maybe you have some kind of fake bandits masquerading as legit Travis Perkins to deliver you a constant stream of concrete blocks?

Possibly so, they keep blocking the road outside our place delivering same to the houses being built across the road as well...

If they are bandits they are pretty piss poor ones as they invariably fuck the order up every time and have to visit 2-3 times when a single visit would suffice if they weren't so useless....

This should be more "things that are amazing" than make you smile, but nonetheless, a literal airhead:

Their recent form is also quite amusing... LLLDL. Maybe we won't be a division below them next year after all.
