I wondered if there was a cleverer way, but if I was to do it (I won't) that's how I'd do it too.
Presumably you could still recover via facebook support by proving who you are.

Of course, but it is addictive - intermittent reinforcement is something I’m sure most have heard of. Also, if it’s live people send you messages and all the other shite that means you end up having to use it. Truth be told I’d accidentally login as habit through boredom (my passwords are all ok shortcuts so was just a key press away). It’d then annoy me that Facebook tried to make me feel guilty and once again had to go through the rigmarole of closing something I hated. Don’t know where to stick this so I will put it here. After being told a number of times I was on my phone to much, I deleted all my social media as a New Years resolution, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and I haven’t had Facebook for years. I can honestly say i don’t miss it at all, I wish I done it sooner. Now if only I could get off here I wouldn’t even need a smart phone. |
