Flitcroft working his magic at Mansfield already, concede late equaliser, then get a man sent off. All about the disciplined defensive displays with him Smiley

and at 1-0 he put on two attacking players, so even if the team went against "instructions" and tried to close thee game out, they weren't equipped to. Classic DF. Working seemingly tactical magic one minute and undoing it all within 10-15mins. Keep up the good work Flitcroft. We have to win Saturday though. Accy looking like they want the title and fair play if they do take it. So cows milk is good for you then?  Pint

My favourite comment from Stagsnet Forum so far...

'Awful football, Swindon fans were on the money, HOOF...'

This one sounds familiar

'Why didn't we change the tactics?

It was obvious to everyone in the ground from the first half hour that we were going to get nowhere with the long ball.

So what did we do for the next hour? Ah yeah exactly the same and got nowhere. We passed properly 3 times, scored a goal, hit one just over the bar and last was squared to rose but was just behind him.

I find it concerning that this wasn't addressed throughout the game and again we were found wanting.

The closing down was lax, Lincoln were better to every 2nd ball, it was poor stuff.

To top it off, on comes Jimmy spencer. Is this lad actually a footballer?

It's hardly the end of the world, but with Accrington winning there's 1 promotion space left, we won't get it playing like this'

much as I'd love to believe it, I don't think Flitcroft can have worked his magic that quickly. Give it a month or so.

Some north west favourites on there, had meetings at Camelot when I worked for the Council up there, whilst Frontierland was before my time but the Polo tower was a landmark until very recently.
