Absolutely we would have IMO. Horrible person but a good manager for us, a proper disciplinarian (ironically with his record).
During the Euros a few years ago, my DiL got some tickets to an event held at Wembley (free beer and food plus the England game on a big screen). Dennis was one of the pundits supporting "Unbelievable" Geoff Stelling. Had a chat with him and he seemed OK- was quite open about his time with us but couldn't reveal too much due to legal constraints.

I wonder what he would do if Rovers get relegated and come calling🤔
This worries me, and Rovers look more likely to go down than not. I’d prefer them to stay up, if it means keeping Holloway.

I think Ollie is a man of his word. I'm not worried about rovers. But he has got family stuff going on, and that has to come first (hopefully it's all ok of course)

I understand the history but I don't understand why people keep mentioning that Rovers would be chasing him. After their manager left earlier in the season they could have quite easily gone for him as he was unemployed

Nobody at the club during his time are even around anymore, not sure why he'd be worried.

Lots of talk about a reduced budget,
But even so, when you assume Khan, McGurk and Uwakwe (3 proper pro's) haven't really been part of our squad all season, that must be a fair chunk of change saved when they get released? assuming we are still paying the majority of their wages?
Moonraker article today mentioned Yeovil paying a good chunk of McGurk’s wages, didn’t mention the others. Really curious to see where McGurk rocks up next season, strangest player we’ve had for a while

This was June 2018 when we spoke so, there may have been a presence within the club that were there during his time.

Its Denis Wise all over again Honestly hated him as a player, but his short spell as manager with us was refreshing. Thought he was going to go and have a good management career. What's he doing now, punditry? Always thought that Poyet was the brains & had the football/coaching knowledge, so no surprise that Wise has not been much of a success as a manager

STFC Loan Round Up - Final one.
No Tariq Uwakwe in the Aldershot squad again.
No Dylan Mitchell in the Hereford squad as they missed out on the play offs by one point, Mitchell made 24 league apps for The Bulls since joining at the end of November.
Jaxon Brown was an unused sub for relegated Aveley FC, he made 21 apps for Aveley after joining in January. Saturday was the only game he hasn’t featured in since arrival.
Anton Dworzak started as Supermarine lost 4-2 to Walton & Hersham. Confirming Marine’s relegation.
Conor Britchford-Stanley played 27 mins off the bench as Highworth Town lost 1-0 in their play-off final against SC Inkberrow.

Contract news via Sam M
Offers with McGregor and Ameen but not yet signed Offer to be made to Smith to extend Offer to be made to Ripley to join
Most of the out of contract players expected to leave, Hall apparently now not retiring.

Does most include your Ofoborh’s and Drinans? That would be a shame.

Not by name either positively or negatively which suggests they might be in the "at the right price" category. Uwakwe, Dworzak, Johnson and Hall mentioned which wouldn't surprise anyone. Glad we're looking at contract extensions for some of the under contract players as the list of players contracted beyond 2026 at this point starts and ends at Harrison Minturn.

Maybe the benefit of having a manager that will be here a bit more long term (hopefully)
