Just watching the last 10 mins of Alcorcon v Valencia (Copa Del Rey) and seeing how much bloody snow has fallen in Madrid. Apparently diggers have been used to remove ice from the streets.

I guess here we'd just maybe think about sending the gritters out and then not bothering.

Standard result on the pitch though; Valencia lead 0-2. Much better in five mins of viewing than that NW Derby that was on. Sky tried their best to milk the whole Marsden occasion. I think players from either side would be "walking alone" after that. Shame though, would clearly have been nice to have a full Kop singing YNWA.

Are we going to have minutes applause for a local musician in years to come, like Liverpool did for gerry marsden?
