The team hearing home truths from Charlie Austin after the way he has performed this season is absolutely hilarious

This

Also changing manager every six months is not the answer.

I've booked a trip to the tip this Saturday, and I'll still probably see less crap than I do at the CG.

Think Colchester have lost 8 of their last 9.

That final point is an important one I think

Is it? I can't for the life of me think how there is any correlation. Just sounds like bollocks.

The Sheridan relegation season was different as it seemed from the outset to be planned for - and brilliantly delivered by Sheridactyl.

This season is just pure shite - born out of ineptitude from top to bottom.

See I disagree with that.
We made some good signings on paper in that window that suggest we wanted to stay up.
Mark Travers, Kieran Freeman, recalling Twine, granted the management was shit but some of the signings on paper weren’t.

Hang on, hang on!

Hawes was providing discussion points. He was saying that we are mid table again. He was saying that this could be because we still have the same nucleus from the previous failed regime or perhaps it is down to the manager. But the fact that the manager has been given a long term deal suggests that the chairman has more faith in him than he does in the squad that was assembled last year. It would seem that Clem is backing Flynn to build for the long term.

The point about England and the golden generation, was that England seemingly had a lot of talent but kept chopping and changing managers. England subsequently didn’t reach its potential. So, Hawes was suggesting that we shouldn’t be too surprised if we keep failing if we keep changing managers. He was NOT saying that we should keep Flynn.

Having not heard the exact quote, that Golden Generation point is risible.

I really rate Andrew Hawes but I'd love to see BBC Wilts doing some journalism on this football club.

When have they ever called out the shady goings on, the ex criminals etc etc?

We are being systematically run into the ground and to suggest it is because we have been chopping and changing managers is mendacious.

This. Was pathetic with Shaun Hodgetts and Power as well.

I’m not sure it’s even factually accurate.

Sven had 3 international tournaments.

McClaren didn’t qualify so rightly sacked.

Capello got 4 years.

Hardly chopping and changing.

Just a bizarre comparison.

It seems that we are doomed to fail under the current regime lead by the former Messiah from down under.  We can chop and change managers but whoever comes in are on a hiding to nothing.

England’s downfall was trying to player their best XI players rather than the best team.
Shifting England’s best CM out wide to accommodate England’s most overrated bottle job CM - was a choice…

Not remotely like the issues we are facing at SN1.

Just can’t comment after that toothless shit show.
Another wasted journey.
The away end like a funeral congregation. So passive and accept this shite and that starts with the bloke that saved the Club.

Fucked off with STFC. It’s dying and that hurts.
