Anyone interested in this one ??.  Pretty late to start a thread but it’s got to be done.
Don’t know what to expect from this one, players out there putting in a shift but just can’t seem to get it together as a team.
FGR Didn’t make it easy for us but this will be a much harder game.   Can’t see past a defeat but would be happy with a point, although not holding my breath.

They have 2 CBs suspended and Conroy went off injured last game.

Although they got beaten by Franchise last time they played them off the park apparently!

Got to say, Lindsey has done well there when most expected them to be rock bottom.

Like to think New Year may bring a change of fortune.

I think a win, albeit a close one. Is FBT back? If so, I'd like to see this(think Minturn needs a break)
                           Ward
       UGM.        Brewitt.        FBT
Hutton.       Kinsella  Khan.   Shade
                Cain.              Kemp
                          Young

I fink we will lose.

I don’t fink we will score.

I fink they might!

Pre match lost forever in a happy crowd in The Jubilee Oak.
I do wonder if The Cure's unrelenting early gloom was down to spending their formative years in Crawley.

As a fan base we are probably at 2nd or 3rd Cure album levels of misery.
Little Faith remains that's for sure & the joy of 1st Jan 2020 at Plymouth seems a long time ago now.

Five members of the match day 18 from one year ago still remain.
Was thinking whether we'd be better off with Lindsey still in charge. Much of a muchness I suspect, but we are 5 points worse off after 25 games.

Would Conroy, Gladwin & Darcy make the first team now?
The squad would certainly benefit.

A not too difficult quiz question to start the year.
Name the 2 keepers who played for both clubs?

Anyway happy new year to you all, miserable fuckers & the more cheerful alike.
Here's hoping for a better year for the club, both on & off the pitch.

Is there pay on the day?
Kids want to go but I can't see past a defeat at the minute so that'll be another miserable away day

One bit of hope for a positive result is that Kemp & Young will want to go out on a high with goals and / or assists.

So I'll go 1-0, Austin, from a pinpoint Hutton cross.

Phil Smith is one

Aye.
The other one has appeared on LSPOD.
Not a huge amount of appearances across 16 odd clubs.

As we all know today is Swindon rejects vs Swindon with them having Kellan Gordon, Dion Conroy, Ben Gladwin, Ronan Darcy,  Scott Lindsey, Jamie Day, Steve Hale & Ricky Mcfarlane on their playing and backroom staff.

We have only won at Creepy twice ever, a 4-0 win with Doyle scoring a hattrick and Yates grabbing the other in 2019 and a 3-0 in 2011 when Kerrouche x2 and Connell grabed the goals.

We have lost our last 2 visits there and in the 10 meetings we have only those 2 wins and Creepy getting 3 and 5 ending as draws.

Lindseys slow plodding passing game should suit our play as it did at the CG they looked almost as bad as FGR when we thrashed them 6-0 earlier in the season when Young got 4 of the goals. No doubt they will be out for revenge.
