We have to stop them getting crosses in? Seriously? Maybe have the wing backs play wing back then, and not level with the front 2 so they have to recover 80 yards to defend.

Not picking people up in the middle? It’s because your centre backs get pulled all over the shop into wide areas. Go and have a look at the Forest Green goal. Brewitt was covering left back, and Minturn left upfield, so when the cross came in, our “back 3”
consisted of UGM and Kinsella!

Saying that we miss Blake-Tracey’s attacking balance sums it all up! He is delusional.

Flynn:
- Not good enough
- Finishing was poor
- Decision making
- Second best first half
- Actually had some good chances
- The goals we gave away....nowhere near good enough
- A lot of them need to look at their performances and evaluate what they are going to get out of the game
- Concede 50 goals: Too open at times. Too easy to get crosses in. Players free in the box. Lack of desire. Understanding of the game. You can look at a whole lot of things!
- Goalscoring: Today we created some good chances. How Young missed Flynn doesn't know. Should have had a penalty. Cain could have scored. Not dressing it up, we weren't good enough today. Too easy to score against
- Brewitt injury didnt help. Didnt want to start Kokolo (especially in that position) as he has been ill. But adrenaline should have got him through
- A few on that pitch quite frankly weren't at the standard required
- Needs new personnel with a better mentality and a better work ethic
- Flynn's job to try to attract new players and improve the squad
- The injuries have not helped.
- Has tried to back players in the press, but there are certain aspects of that that has nothing to do with injuries. Very disappointed
- Squad number fatigue?: Not been ideal with 5 CBs out for a few weeks.
- FBT out: He is a senior lad and gives natural balance so we can create more attacks as well
- Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong
- Professional pride: Orsi could have done anything he wanted today. He looked a Championship player. If I was one of the defenders I would be taking that personally
- Echoes of Walsall?: Yes, its tough. Its hard with injuries. You have to try to work hard. Bring players in to strengthen the squad
- Performance made something snap in you?: Yes, Flynn can say that now that the window is open. Flynn has chance to bring players in now. But its not just Flynn saying it. The club captain and vice captain has just said that in the dressing room.
- They have had some home truths! Its got to change soon!
- There is a lot of improvement needed
- If they are not up for it, they will have a very short career!
- Should know more about ins when he gets on the bus
- Kemp and Young going back to parent clubs. They will be a big miss for us, especially Kemp
- A lot of them in there could learn something from Dan Kemp. He is what a professional should be. Work ethic and desire. He'll be a big miss
- We have almost got one player in. Hoping for 2-3 more by saturday
- Looking at incomings straight through the spine. Want to change the mentality. Need to change the mentality of near enough all of them. Need experience ones and ones with right attitude to influence those younger ones who think they can coast through as a pro footballer
- GK is a position Flynn is looking at, but they have to be better than Ward. Won't sign a GK for the sake of it
same old shit boreing  fuck off.

Hawes:
- Flynn's frustration with the current squad was palpable
- Two players signed by Flynn have scored 28 goals in Young and Kemp. UGM has been a visible defender. Kinsella has settled in midfield
- There are a lot of players he has inherited from the analytic decision making of the previous regime from last year that ended up mid-table. We are mid table again. Where do you put the blame this year? Manager? Players?
- There was work going on in the background. There were a number of calls floating around the interview ahead of the game
- Flynn has a 3 year deal. 2.5 years left. Wondered whether there would be a shifting on of elements of the squad. Maybe moulding the future is what this season is about?
- 13 league games without a clean sheet: UGM and FBT have played in most of those.
- Austin and FBT had their say at the end of the game.
- Flynn didnt hold back at half time according to the steward near the dressing room. More evidence that today is a watershed day and patience with the dressing room has been lost
- Chairman: Has been there today, Wrexham, Tranmere and FGR. Has been speaking to Flynn after each game.
- Seems Chairman is backing his man
- How many new faces is radical? Need a minimum of 6 to build the squad, stabilise this year and look towards next year. Radical could end up being in double figures!
- Give Scott Lindsay a lot of credit. Only just survived last year and has recruited from the fringes of the football league to put together a competitive team.
- Swindon keep cycling through managers and we keep failing. Just like England with the 'golden generation'.

The club is lost, floundering around untethered. There is no light at the end of the tunnel as we stand.

There is nothing to commend.

Sorry, it’s a bit fair fetched the blame the data analytic recruitment of last season on us being this shite this season.

Hutton, Khan & Shade are probably the only first team regulars recruited under that model. Cain as well I guess. Hutton has his strengths & weakness and whilst Khan hasn’t been blameless he’s hardly been the worst offender. Shade has been hit & miss.

FBT never fit the model. RHM was bought in by Lindsey himself. McEachran & Brewitt by Morris.

Of course - the main & obvious recruitment related thing from last season (that is still hurting us this season) is we have good attacking wing backs who can’t defend. That does not mean Flynn has to play fucking wing backs does it? Don’t do it, change formation or bring in other wing backs?

…and of course we’ve just had Darcy waltz through our back line - a player not only identified by the analytic model but one we also bombed out…

Having not heard the exact quote, that Golden Generation point is risible.

I really rate Andrew Hawes but I'd love to see BBC Wilts doing some journalism on this football club.

When have they ever called out the shady goings on, the ex criminals etc etc?

We are being systematically run into the ground and to suggest it is because we have been chopping and changing managers is mendacious.

I’d also argue the model wasn’t the problem last season per say.

It was the rigidity we followed the model with. That recruitment strategy needed to be used for 40-50% of our recruitment rather than the 95% of it we did. In isolation the players weren’t/aren’t that bad but we never recruited the seasoned experienced pros to glue that team together…
