There will never be anything in life slower than that back 3 of Reeves, Heywood & Viveash.

The race for the long through ball between Benson & Duberry is still the slowest movement I've ever seen live.

Mr Elkins would be the first name on the team sheet for a Town 'players who don't look remotely like a footballer'XI

Amazing when you think Elkins played 82 games in the premier league and Reeves even played 50+. Obviously both were at Wimbledon with their ‘unique’ style, but still.

I'm pretty sure Razor "we had to fly shorts in special from Egypt for his fat arse" Ruddock was slower than all of them during his time here.

That man was statuesque in very much a bad way.

Chesterfield away at their old ground, it was horrific. We lost 3 something but was the slowest backline I’ve seen in professional football.

Remember that one, 3 : 0 loss. When the team lineup was announced, I thought that all Chesterfield needed to do was run at them. Post-match, the Chesterfield manager said that he told his players to just run at them. I recall that Andy King was the Town manager at the time.
