I have a sneaky hunch that Holloway's exit strategy will be something along the lines of, the board not matching his ambition to build a successful club {and it will be a very valid strategy}.

A club can't legitimately run on buttons forever, even if they are brass {they're not}

I have a sneaky hunch it’ll be retirement. On budget he clarified in the conference that if gates increase his player budget will increase. He talked about the efl rules. The budget will be lower next season because attendances have been lower.

I am fairly certain we do not hit the revenue based limit on player salaries, at least based on the prior years accounts available.  They could however have seen a further drop in Revenue this season - which is not unlikely given the way it is being run.

The budget is already well lower than attendances warrant. Reduce the admin fees.

Realistically the only people on that list we're likely to see again are Brown and maybe Mitchell.

Lots of talk about a reduced budget,

But even so, when you assume Khan, McGurk and Uwakwe (3 proper pro's) haven't really been part of our squad all season, that must be a fair chunk of change saved when they get released? assuming we are still paying the majority of their wages?

Has Holloway ever left a club peacefully? Still expecting a meltdown sometime in the near future!

Its Denis Wise all over again Smiley

Honestly hated him as a player, but his short spell as manager with us was refreshing. Thought he was going to go and have a good management career. What's he doing now, punditry?

He runs an academy in one of the Asian countries with Gus Poyet and Des Walker.

Horrible cowardly player and never liked him when he was here as a manager even though for a couple of months or so he had us flying in the league. He jumped ship way too early especially going to such a big club without achieving anything as a manager. Then the DOF role at Newcastle was another strange job which didn’t work out and vaguely remember him upsetting Kevin Keegan st the time.

I very rarely see him these days so don’t know what he’s up to although I noticed another ex manager Tim Sherwood is still going strong on TV.

Did a good job in helping to steer Como to Serie A as CEO over 5 years or so before that.

In golfing parlance a nasty five footer was always referred to as a Dennis Wise apparently.

We may well have pissed the league that year had he stayed, along with Gus as well.

Absolutely we would have IMO. Horrible person but a good manager for us, a proper disciplinarian (ironically with his record).
