Ive always wondered why Zav Austin grassed up Power.

Did he find out Power was getting more a slice of the pie than he was supposed to?

Indeed, I like both my kneecaps. But it was mentioned in public by the club then zilch. Best left alone I agree. More pressing matters like the possible death of the club.

Worse than power for me - main reason being that for all of Power’s off field antics, the club was more competitive on the pitch than this lot. I bet when Morfuni and his band of crooks leave we’ll find out truly how awful they were and it wouldn’t shock me if it’s worse than power

An ex Town employee once said to me, that for all the negative that Power brought, he at least had the right people in the right places.

If you merge both Morfuni and Power, you would probably get the shit owner final boss.

Even if you think Clem is a well meaning, squeky clean guy the football side alone is such a shambles  that he is killing the club through incompetence.

With Power we had a saleable EFL club when poop hit the fan.
With Clem we may not have a(n EFL) club, and have massive debts.

Power was an awful human being and owner but at least he knew how to build a competitive club. We won promotion and titles under Power. He never would have had us fighting relegation from League Two. Morphoney is just incompetent, and im sure there's something darker going on with him. The fact that we're discussing which owner is worst is quite hilarious and shows just where we are right now.

Also any new owner now to begin with is really going to struggle getting fans on side. Morfuni had the fortune of people hating Power so much that they thought he was the best (and a good) option. I can't see any new owner getting away with it so early, trust in ownership is at an all-time low.

I'm sure it's pie in the sky, but i would love the Trust along with Rob Angus to get together and actively seek new owners, owners that are willing to put the right people in the right positions. Let's face it, Clem doesn't have a clue about how to run a football club, he's either too arrogant or too stupid to see that.

He said 'we've learned from our mistakes' etc but he simply hasn't and he's too pig headed to do anything about it. We've reached the end of the road under the current ownership, now is the time for fans/trust to engage and work on what the next chapter is. Unfortunately a lot of work is needed, but we have to see some signs of change, before we start floundering about in non-league.

The way I see it, it's the same group in the shadows behind whoever the figurehead is. Power tried to screw over backers with a handshake deal, Clem got the nod from Zav but he needed money... He can dress it up however he wants but it's shady as fuck, there are clingers on from before and he has had more than enough chances to get rid, but he can't or won't do it. Meanwhile, he funds the club on a shoestring, overpromotes people way above their station and the managers take the fall for his shit handling. The first season was a fluke, each once since has been worse and the holes in his leadership more obvious.

Not really denying that we don't have much money, but we never seem to be short of the money to sack three managers a season. Are these people just signing contracts with generous break clauses or can we find money for that somehow when there's no other money around?
