If it’s not actually his money supposedly propping the club up why would he care? If the people whose money it is are almost certainly extracting their profits from God knows what means and will continue to do so until the cupboard is bare. It’s why they dont want the club sold. That and the skeletons that would fall from the cupboard.

I take it a club sale would mean due diligence on the clubs finances and they would not want a legit businessman or consortium to see what’s been going on financially.

The only sale would likely be to another person in the loop or someone just as dodgy.

Just a theory but I’ve always had the working assumption that if there was one undocumented shareholder, how many others were there? Was Zav one of them and in his interest not to be screwed by Power, he played the game with Clem on the proviso his off the record shareholdings carried?

Depends what you class as failing doesn't it. For us we are failing but if others are earning a living from this still somehow through ways of contracts for services elsewhere, who knows. None of us know that's the problem

OK you are being a bit thick here now. I didn't say he gives a shit i clearly stated he understands how fans feel about the club and what it means but does not give a fuck. I am agreeing with you. I have openly stated numerous times i was one who was duped by it all and thought he had good intentions but he hasn't clearly and i have openly called them out on it. In my experience of 'boardroom execs who basically steal a massively inflated wage' it's probably something like he was being 'done out' of 5% of the money power was skimming off player sales, or he didn't get a Christmas card, or he got a Tesco sandwich instead of an M&S one or something.
