If you're going to launder money etc. you want a business that has a lot of cash movements flowing into the business and back out again around legitimate organisations to an extent that nothing looks amiss.
It'll stand out more in the National League because the gates should be lower, and also anyone even taking a paltry look at the state of catering etc. at the ground will realise that if you're running out of hot drinks at half time (like today) then maybe that massive payment from the club to one of the chairman's mates who's totally above board maybe needs investigating

Tbf, the worse case scenario is that the forum admin would be sent an email/contacted and likely asked to take it down. Then they would have a certain amount of time to delete/remove said offending post. Obviously what can't be done is, a defamatory post can't be indexed in perpetuity if the forum receives such a request. Similar happens with copyright where a cease and desist or DMCA request is submitted. The only danger of ever being sued is if such a takedown request is ignored. |

How can they even get it wrong though? If I'm doing an photography or research assignment, where I'm not invested in the content matter...I will follow my brief and become somewhat invested...through research lolz. If my brief notes say ''Football club Swindon Town winning League Cup in '67''. I then could be lazy and search for source images with say ''League Cup Winners '67'' and the results give me the offending image. Surely at that point I go 'Oh hang on, the results say QPR and I need STFC. Let me just check with Anthony, regarding the year or something.' Even if I fail to cross reference, surely someone else views the final draft and image{s} before it gets submitted for print? This is basic level stuff. |

Definitely incompetence. Unless we employed Rodney Marsh to do the programme I don't see any value in anyone fucking this up deliberately. No-one wants to be shit, but if you don't have the experience, time and/or support then it becomes inevitable and sadly that is where we are top to bottom at STFC. |
