In the gym I usually listen to podcasts but today I decided to play some music and put one of my all time favourite albums on, Stone Roses by the Stone Roses. And a load of happy memories came flooding back. It took me back to my school days playing football most nights, Championship Manager (or whatever it was called then) etc etc. Basically just innocent times where there was no stress and life was good.

Which got me thinking about this forum and there has been a lot of angst on here recently. Yes it's not great on the pitch but really is anything to be gained from having petty arguments on a football forum with (most likely) strangers? So I wanted to apologise to 4D for calling him a fat cunt the other day, it was out of order and caused by my irrational irritation of people's fascination with football attendances. Horses for courses, live and let live etc etc.

When you see how angst ridden people are getting when the club are sitting 9th in the table just imagine the shite that would be being lost if we were fighting relegation to the Conference as many feared would be the case at the start of the season!

Fuck you bob

Yeah fuck you Bob, your mamma too and your daddy!

I saw Daphne and Celeste at a festival in Reading/Leeds back in the late nineties. Lots of angry sweaty people throwing things at them. Not dissimilar to being at the CG really! Smiley

bottles of piss was the main projectile thrown at Daphne and Celeste at Reading

you can do that in the DRS, but the collateral damage would be high on account of the fuckers taking bottle tops off the bottles before hading over.

probably should point out they don't actually sell the piss in the DRS. That's purely BYO

How'd you break the thread title then Batch? Not for everyone mind, just for you. That's quite special.

With all due respect, whilst the Second Coming is a good album I will politely agree to disagree with you, you fucking bollard.

I'm a huge fan of theirs also, as well as Shed Seven who were one of the last bands I saw live before the pandemic.
