The Seahorses are the band The Stone Roses should have been

John Squire's guitar work with the Seahorses at festivals was sterling.

The Betting Industry lobbying group releasing some research to show that gambling sponsorships did not influence people to do betting, therefore shouldn't be banned.

Big fan of trying "advertising doesn't work, but we want to carry on spending hundreds of millions for no purpose, so please let us" as an approach.

I'm a huge fan of theirs also, as well as Shed Seven who were one of the last bands I saw live before the pandemic.

Ok.  Just to be a complete saxondale wanker.  Here we go...

Yeah I was having a chat with the inspirals guitarist last night.  Good mate of mine.  Oldham fan.  Loves Sheridan.

As name drops go, the guitarist of the inspiral carpets is probably not that impressive.

Flights booked for April. First time back in 3 years. Getting the Newport game in. Ripped off by the EasyJet voucher shenanigans.

Not sure about Clint.  Graham is and he actually goes to the matches.  In that freezing ground.

And now for my stone roses flex, I was on the side of stage when they headlined V festival in about 2016.  It was fucking excrutiating.  All the band on in ear monitors, Ian Brown had 3 monitors in front and 3 monitors behind him blaring out his 'vocal'.  It was like Kurt Zouma playing keepy uppy with tiddles and meow meow.

Does Graham still have that ridiculous haircut? I was just watching a youtube video of them playing Jools Holland in 92 and his hair is legendary! Smiley

Yeah I've seen Ian Brown live, it was a painful experience so I can only imagine the hell coming out of those monitors!

Grahams hair has got significantly better.  He's a very nice chap obsessed with sport.  One of the first times I met him he was sitting in a production office of a gig listening to cricket and doing his score book.

Possibly the least rock n roll person I know!

They're all shit.  The Inspiral Carpets were much better.  So fuck you all.

Charlatans are clearly better than whoever's been mentioned.  Put that in your collctive pipes and smoke it.

My opinion is clearly superior as I was 7 when The Stone Roses came out so I'm not blinded by nostaglia. Don't get me wrong, the first album is fucking great but you can't beat the balls out second coming when Squire comes out of his shell and starts showing what he can do.
