It's not like it's on display for everyone to see. Although it took me longer than I care to admit to work it out, in fact I think you had to spell it out to me. Literally.

You mean his name isn’t Jay O’Haitchenn and he’s not a Irish???

It's only a matter of time until someone on here manages to get offended by their own post.

If anyone has a good Brownies recipe, pass it on.  Not a dry cake style one, I want moist (awaiting thread turn here) and dense (another turn probably).

My family dropped the O' in the 1800s. True story, funnily enough.

When birth death and marriage certification came into effect in Ireland in the mid 1800s, the English wanted to Anglicise a lot of the Irish names and a lot of the O' in the names went missing. This would also probably be the first time a lot of names were written down officially and a lot of the Irish were illiterate so a lot of names were recorded phonetically.

In the gym I usually listen to podcasts but today I decided to play some music and put one of my all time favourite albums on, Stone Roses by the Stone Roses. And a load of happy memories came flooding back. It took me back to my school days playing football most nights, Championship Manager (or whatever it was called then) etc etc. Basically just innocent times where there was no stress and life was good.

Which got me thinking about this forum and there has been a lot of angst on here recently. Yes it's not great on the pitch but really is anything to be gained from having petty arguments on a football forum with (most likely) strangers? So I wanted to apologise to 4D for calling him a fat cunt the other day, it was out of order and caused by my irrational irritation of people's fascination with football attendances. Horses for courses, live and let live etc etc.
