Notice we are favourites to beat Salford on Saturday, hate it when bookies make us favourites, especially away from home.

Presume because they believed every lie he told and yet a journalist found out the truth.
The UK doesn’t give a shit who enters the country.
Sorry, was away with work. Two things can be true, he could have claimed asylum correctly and then turned into a cunt. British born people can be cunts too...

So that’s why he gave a false name and lied about what country he was from.
What about the other 200,000 - and counting.
I want to know what the end game is supposed to be for thousands of undocumented Young illegal immigrants. Are they going to assimilate into British society, get jobs, a place to live (that they actually pay for), contribute.

Well is they are 'illegal immigrants' they must be working somewhere to provide for themselves as the country will provide nowt for them be that benefits medical care etc. Or if you actually mean 'asylum seekers' that's an entirely different kettle of fish, the end game for that would be the Home Office actually fucking processing them properly (which they are choosing not to do at the moment) and either approving or if they do not meet the tests kicking them out*, something that the government entirely has the right to do but chooses not to as its a handy way of scaring much of the population and getting good headlines in the Daily Mail. * This process has not been helped, and in fact substantially hindered, by some numbnuts choosing to leave the EU, and by the process the Dublin Protocol which would have allowed us to return them to France and not negotiating something similar to replace it. (Fun fact - the numbnuts who left the EU and didn't replace the Dublin protocol are, mysteriously, the same government that are now wringing their hands and getting ever more 1930's German about not being able mto send Asylum seekers back to where they entered the UK from....)

Well, that’s not right is it. There’s thousands of illegal immigrants, who are told to ditch any identification documents before they arrive so the UK won’t know which country to deport them to. How can asylum be granted to people who have no way of identifying themselves. And how about those poor people who have genuine asylum claims.
There must be some way to distinguish between genuine asylum seekers and economic migrants.

The article doesn't say anything about him applying for asylum under a different name or stating he was from a different country, can you provide a source please?

Do you know what the process is for claiming asylum?

Read the fucking article. He was in the UK under the name Hewa Rahimpur. His actual name is Hama Khoshnaw, from Kurdistan.

No harm done. I know this is pedantry, but his name is said to be Hama Khoshnaw, from Kurdistan, not that his actual name is.
I guess that comes back to how the government can ensure asylum claims are valid from people who they say they are.
It's tough, but I'm not sure closing all legal routes for asylum claims is the right way or this rwanda thingy
