There was a BBC ‘verification’ report - and they are hardly pro Israel - that showed the car park hit and there was a very small crater which couldn’t have been caused by an Israeli missile.

Truth is the first casualty of war.

As an aside. Why are those of a left wing persuasion so pro Palestine?

I've never bothered to find out, especially as extreme right wing followers have a tendency to be a bit anti-Jewish.

Anyway, Palestine are not in this, as a Country/Territory.  It's all about the groups like Hamas and Hezbollah having their day, who also tend to be a bit extreme Right Wing I believe.

Precisely why I've never really understood peoples desire to be a supporter of a Political Party.  How can you belief systems be so well defined and narrow, especially your policy solitions.

It’s certainly weird. With so many thousands of displaced people from the region now resident all over the world it certainly has the capacity to cause a huge security problem.

How does the US square the treatment of the Capitol being full of Palestine supporters with the supposed insurrection of the other year. Why haven’t they been dragged out. It’s stuff like this that really riles people up.

There’s something ‘off’ about Rishi Sunak - not just because of him being a useless Tory PM - but as a person. I can’t put my finger on it.
This could be part of it. No matter how much he’s got it’s never enough

He is so rich he doesn't understand how normal people work.

Erm... There was nothing supposed about that day, only the wingnuttiest of right wingnuts would doubt what took place then, they literally live streamed themselves...

OK. So why aren’t those occupying the Capitol building being removed now?

Right wing - get the fuck out

Left wing - all’s well, nothing to see here

Because one of the dates in question, the Capitol building was closed to enable the business of Government to be performed.  There is also a difference between being around the building and being in the building, especially when one of those days is an actual attempt to block the counting of electoral votes, in violation of the countries written Constitution.

Trust me when I say the Palestinian protests are not well received though.  The support of Israel is a pretty unifying thing in politics here, bar a few outliers on either side.  I mean, the Israeli state advertises for donations here.

As per above, you are conflating a few things.  There is a pretty solid Jewish support system in place on both sides of the aisle here.  There are a small % who would be Democrats who support Palestine, through religious beliefs.  Then there are just as many on the Republican side who would likely be counted as anti-Semitic as well, through their extreme right wing ideology aligning with groups like the KKK.  The Unite the Right March here had a very anti-Jewish evening stroll through a college campus a few years ago.

Ironically, Storm Babett has cut off the town of Brechin in Scotland.

Wasn’t that the name of the woman who cut off her husbands’s nob in the US?
