I honestly thought Andy Caton would be the next big thing, Wise really rated the guy, was quoted once saying that he didnt know how he was going to keep hold of him once the scouts come calling!
Think that injury more or less finished him. DRS is right though. |

Bang on. Him and Lukas Jutkiewicz are the best young players Ive ever seen. With Caton it was injuries that did it. Showed a bad attitude when he was released by Swindon as well. Gave a poor interview saying that Sturrock hadnt given him a chance, he'd be back proving us all wrong in no time. I know he was dissapointed, but the club had done everything to keep him going, kept extending his contract month after month even though he had been injured for the vast majority of his time at Swindon. Although I was devastated the club sold Jutkiewicz, it just shows you have to take the cash. Its a tremendous risk the big clubs are taking (not that they care that much). |

Andy Caton is probably still at the University of Bath but because Team Bath have been forced out of the Conference South their best players have been looking for clubs that can go side-by-side with their studies.
Good to see ex-scummer Lee Steele played for Oxford City.... He scored the 3rd a few years back.
