Dan Agyei has been released by Crewe after turning down a new contract, very fast and skillful player managed to score 16 goals for a poor Crewe side this season and only 25 (today), I expect he will have suitors from higher up the pyramid than us though. And he is ex Pox.

But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Being ex Scum plus his absolute cuntish behaviour at the CG in our most recent encounter with Crewe - I’d not support his signing one bit.

Adebayo was like 20 when he was here. Adeloye is 27, supposedly entering his prime. Apples and oranges.

New week then, I wonder whether we might see some movement this week, been a few moves around the leagues and the rumour mill is beginning to kick into motion. I haven't seen anything concrete really but i'm sure Flynn and the recruitment team are working hard to get people in.

Wonder if we will be sparse with the loanees again this season.

Almost certainly to have players lined up and ready to sign once holidays are finished. Nathan Thompson first I reckon.

That would be a good start to getting the spine of the side sorted out. You'd imagine he'd be club captain also?

Not sure Charlie Austins ego would allow that

I'm sure his missus would be quick to throw her toys out of the pram also on twitter.

I've no preference massively, I think you could probably make a case for both Austin and Thompson to be club captain. Obviously Harry Kane is your high profile striker captain, but I do like the idea of a Centre Back to be captain. You've obviously got FBT as well who would have a case also.
