I'd like to see Lyden back if he can prove his fitness over the summer. He was unlucky with the injury.
Three seasons here, he's played 24 games in 19/20, then 15 in 20/21 and 14 this season, including sub appearances. I'd love him to prove his fitness, but I can't see it happening.

What are the chances of Payne and Reed staying then. The squad does seem the have a real togetherness and who knows what our financial position is now we’re out of the embargo (Not showing on the EFL website anymore)
All assumptions on my part but anything players say publicly about togetherness and close knit squad, real team bond - is just sound bytes for the fans to smile over. I don’t for one second think any footballer would choose a ‘good dressing room’ over a more financially beneficial / longer contract. I know about as much (probably less) about Clem and how much money he has behind him & how much he can / will put into the club…but…if we have serious intent / ambition we are going to have to offer the likes of Payne & Reed favourable terms to stay. If not, it’ll be recycle the players and end up with a new team every year and no consistency

Chatting to Tomlinson after the Barrow game and asked him about his injury and rehab. He said he would be back next season. I asked if it would be here and he replied by smiling and raising both hands with fingers crossed.
Fuck knows what that means and I'm never "ITK", in fact I'm the furthest person from being "ITK" but I'd thought I share it.

I have a niggly feeling that McKirdy will stay but will struggle next season.

With Lyden, I’d do what I’ve seen a few clubs have already done in their retained list for injured players. No new contract but invited to rehab with the club and have pre season. Lyden, good player but injuries are against him for me

I suggest he might want to look at the career of Sam Parkin (and many similar).

Would be gutted if Hunt went but wouldn’t surprise me if he linked up with Wellen’s at Orient. Not surprised if Conroy isn’t offered deal. If he was to stay I don’t see him as captain material.

Agree. But as you say, intent/ambition = money. Clem isn't super loaded AFAIK.

He's on League 1 wages apparently so makes sense to use his wage alternatively I guess.

I love Hunty but Egbo is an improvement on Hunt. Egbo with Hunt as sub would be preferable but if he Hunty wants to go and play for Wellens again, then fair enough.

Would absolutely love to keep Egbo. With a full pre season and in Garners style, feel he could explosive.
