Sorry, but I didn't see many other players so far out of position so regularly, and look so hopelessly outclassed throughout the game. He was awful.

When I see LJF out of position it's because he's moved to cover someone else. I think he reads the game pretty well, have a look at the 2nd Charlton goal and he was the only player to see the danger and came close to stopping it.

Plus he put in a few good ladt ditch tackles and blocks today.

No one was particularly bad today, the problem was that no one was particularly good.

if that's the case it's a fucking disgrace. Players were slipping when they tried to change direction and the pitch cut up badly. A new stadium and they can't even get the pitch right.

We've played and won on worse pitches. Millwall seemed fine on the surface.

It's horrible viewing though, total freak bounce.

Makes you wonder what they'd have been doing if they lost

Perhaps this excerpt from a lovely Millwall chap called baldylocks from their forum will enlighten you -

"I will stab a swindon fan in the face if they do win and look happy outside. I will tolerate a happy smile but any cuddling dancing or singing then the chiv comes out" http://www.independentmillwall.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=99025

Charmed I'm sure.

the thing that annoyed me most about today was the lack of support from the day trippers. There was only about fifty of us singing in our entire block.

Was the atmosphere as good as 93? I remember that being awesome before and during the game...

It didn't come across on the radio although commentators said it was loud..

Atmosphere was awful (though it was good in the pubs beforehand) - too many daytrippers who ust wouldn't sing. I don't rememeber it being like that in 1993 but maybe that's rose tinted glasses.

To make matters worse I got a smack from a Forest fan after the game a Wembley Stadium station - he was with Swindon fans but had never seen us play before. He was going on about how shit and embarassing we were, how Charlie Austin should never be a professional footballer and should return to being a brickie and how we're not fit to grace the City Ground. I let him know my thoughts but unfortunately there was a slight size difference. Luckily the police stepped in....

Happens to all the small clubs who take significant numbers (nowadays)... Shame there isn't some way of keeping the die-hards together.

We were rubbish... didn't use the width, didn't play football, and didn't seem to care... I'm disappointed, annoyed, but not surprised. And I have a headache
