Just to balance out the tale of the ill-behaved kids in the other thread, I popped in to Aldi on my way home to pick up a few items the other week. Upon arriving at the checkout there was a mother with her two well-behaved daughters putting her shopping on the conveyor belt. When one of the girls noticed I only had 4 items she suggested to her mother that they let me in front of them and the mother obliged.

I don't think I've ever seen such well-behaved kids in a supermarket before.

What you have omitted to note is that the daughters were 16 & 18!  Cheesy

What a heart-warming story. All joking aside, that's top class.

Well, we know where we're goin'
But we don't know where we've been
And we know what we're knowin'
But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out
