Nasty fucking Tories, privatising the NHS, making the plebs wait months, starving them of funds like an ungreatful exwife.

It's ungrateful, love.

Smiley When we lived in the UK my (French) wife absolutely hated it when anyone called her love. Or duck.

As an aside, I wonder why "Nasty fucking Tories, privatising the NHS, making the plebs wait months, starving them of funds like an ungreatful exwife" makes Legends-Lounge smile or feel good. Strange person.

I don’t know whether the GWH is an exception, but I got an appointment with a consultant within 2 weeks of my GP visit. And now followed up within 10 days in getting a CT scan.

Fucking marvellous.

Think it probably depends on the severity of your condition. I waited 9 months for non-emergency surgery.

Still, nice to hear we are doing a good job Smiley

No-one said you are. It's remarkable though how the rest of the NHS manages to work round you Smiley

I wish I had a good experience of my many visits to NHS hospitals.

It always makes me laugh up here when a young attractive girl working in a shop (actually it seems to be normally Greggs) calls me love or darling when serving me.

I think it all depends on what you are diagnosed with and the hospital. When I rolled up semi-conscious in an ambulance I seemed to rattle through the system quite well although still took about 12 weeks for a diagnosis, at other times it can take ages. I have been referred for physio this morning so we shall see how long that takes.

I had 7 cancelled operations for esophagis cancer from June until October, a little less than chuffed TBH.

Fuck me that's all a bit shit, and then to rub it in they shove a catheter in.

Tim Farron has been campaigning for about 10 years to get us a cancer care unit in the district but to no avail so far...

"Shove" is the right word....TBF I got in for the first op within 2 weeks, then over the next 6 ops I had 5 canceled the day before and 2 canceled while I was at hospital prepped.

Its only been this last one that they have royally fucked up with the 7 cancelations.
