The Bruce Street Bridges cock up has ruined my way into town from my place opposite Asda Walmart. Not sure if heading through West swindon and along Wooton Bassett road or up through gorse hill is the quickest way to the Brunel car park now. Grrrr.
Should be finished next month if on time. But it has been a monster clusterfuck for over a year now.

What's the difference between a peach and a nectarine?
Just munched 2 lovely 'nectarines' but they're peaches to me

The only noticeable difference is the skin, isn't it?

I'm certain it's one of those marketing things... like calling Pilchards Sardines, made up by some marketing bod. I feel like Reg.

So it's the same sort of thing as a Hairy Mary v a Shaven Haven?

A peach is a suede apple, a nectarine is a naked peach.

Not trivial, and more than mildly annoying but still. Tube Strikes. Fuck off. Any ounce of public support and empathy you may or may not have had has been shredded to bits.

I believe so. I heard they go underground. Or in 'tubes'. Quite what to make of it I'm not sure.

I though that was Wombles? Londoners, and their London ways. FWIW Panda, does seem a bit money grabbing given they start on 50K

Not about the cash apparently,as they're more than happy to bang on about, but yep.... 50k plus 35 hour working week, 35+ days AL a year, no qualifications requried. Good gig if you can get it.
