As usual, you're placing the blame with the people at the bottom rather than the rich cunts in charge.

It isn't just drivers that are striking by the way. They certainly don't all earn £50k. The station managers/staff are on less than half that and their conditions are changing too.

Thanks for the education. Without you, I'd be truly uninformed, but I'm now fully aware of all the facts.

I'm not placing the blame with anyone, I'm moaning about something that's fucking annoying, because it's exactly what this thread is about.

I think the strike is mostly about the fact tube stations will be open 24 hours a day with little to no bonus involved for those on the night shifts. You're dealing with London's pissed/drugged up 3-7am populace, which is just going to be fucking awful. I doubt it's an amazing job as it is, let alone having the added threat of a zero bonus night shift hanging over you. The drivers union is apparently the one closest to agreeing a compromise.

I personally have no problem with them striking, although I don't live in London so my point is moot. The shit I've seen them have to deal with when I was living there is enough to rob most people of their sanity, let alone job satisfaction.

For the first time in my life, I've lost a wallet. I feel weird because I never lose things.

It's a ballache having to cancel all the cards, but at least they, the wallet and the stacks of receipts are replaceable. The photographs in it are not. Sad

The problem isn't that the unions are too strong, the problem is that other unions are too weak. I agree with the reasons behind the strike, the 24 hour tube is a pointless and badly thought out PR exercise.

However, it's going to be a right pain in the arse for me which does annoy me.

I don't understand myself sometime. When me and the missus are out food shopping she always wants to get some Pizza Express pizza's. I always tell her that they are too expensive (5 quid a go) and we need to save money.

2 days later i forget to take out something for dinner so end up getting domino's yet don't really bat and eye lid at spending 15/20 quid on a couple large pizza's and sides

The phrase, popular in fb 'and so it begins....' You're only going on holiday / to work / down the bloody shops, it's not a great adventure.

People putting holiday photos on FB, "here we are on the way to the airport", "here we are on the plane", "here we are at the hotel", "here we are at the beach".

I'm waiting for "here we are after getting home and finding out we've been burgled as people knew we were away"

Or people that put posts stating 'so excited, its 115 days until we go on holiday. YAY'

Get a grip.

The only way to be good on Facebook is to not use Facebook. Every one will annoy someone at some point, myself included.

I just block/unfollow the people that I don't want cluttering up my timeline with their nonsense.

Why, every year, does the release of A Level results make the main news?

Numerical and Verbal Reasoning assessments before potential job interviews.

Yes, yes it separates the wheat for the chaff but this is for the company I currently work for and I've done it twice for them already.

My season ticket renewal card arriving today, almost a week after the first home game of the season.

Why I need another one I don't know!
