Grant sent a fan a DM on Twitter basically don’t listen to Nixon he knows nothing so I think we can dispel that one. Nixon gets some stuff right but he’s actually wrong a lot, he doesn’t like when this gets pointed out and blocks people, he’s just another rumour account but with some contacts.

Oh and Fryers is under contract still is he not and we are looking at extending it, so in that case he’s clearly talking nonsense.

Wasnt the tweet grant was on about one of those rumour site things?

Yeah i just noticed that but Grant has made the effort to say don’t listen and with Nixon clearly making shit up about Frurrs I think he’s just trolling.

Oof.

While the banter merchants will love this but I do wonder whether more rational Blackpool fans will start questioning this transfer policy.

The clubs media coverage last pre season was excellent so hopefully on Thurs we start to see who is there for training. Interesting to see if Donohue joins up from the start, and how close the 2 or 3 close signings he spoke about are.

You'd think we'd see some A .Trialists next week as well.

I have heard Donohue is lined up to sign this week.

And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

I'm hoping Blackpool do well this season because if they don't I reckon they will be after Wellens again.

Didn’t we ask the players not to sign their contracts until the club has done certainty and return to training? Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s all that we are waiting for from some, hopefully multiple announcements this week.

Same, there’s some ill feeling towards Wellens from there fans and vice versa for some reason so don’t think it would be either parties first choice.

Very, very true. In some ways I suspect they see us as a threat, which we are and irrespective of who goes will still be.

The Town are on the up with a highly, highly rated manager who cut his teeth with the best. There will be agents, players and managers on the phone to Wellens hourly touting themselves, their agency players and in the case of managers further up the leagues fringe players who need game time to develop. Three routes to market for Wellens to choose from. Again as was mentioned this morning more trialists than the Old Bailey.
