Oleg McNoleg by the sounds of it. He must have been terrible to get binned as quick as that.

Hope we paid his air fare. Poor sod.

If he was binned after 1 session how awful must he have been?  Makes you wonder who suggested him in the first place as well?  Strange.

BBC Wiltshire reporting the trialist was Neil Yadohali of Whitehawk who had recently just been called up by Iran.

Just listened to Brown's press conference ahead of the FGR match. He gets a call part way through and says its from David Weir. A quick check of t'internet shows that Weir is in charge of loans from Brighton. Do they have a defender that we might be after or was he checking on Alzate?

Interesting career. Born in Dublin, played in LOI, Aremenia, the States and now English non-league. And called up to the Iraq International squad!

Clearly he was gash if bombed out after one training session.

I no longer get excited about a signing until I see the shirt/scarf over his head shot.

I agree, not like the old days is it? You heard next to nothing then boom, in the local rag, then a picture to follow. That said unless you’re directly involved it is pretty much like a duck paddling in a strong current at our level. Sod all movement above the water and paddling like fuck under it. Meanwhile we all speculate, formulate, deliberate as to who, what, where, how much etc, etc.

Still remember 15 year old me picking up the paper and seeing we had signed Thorpe and Cureton. Was convinced we were in for a great season!

Hopeful of a relatively busy last week of the transfer window but won't be suprised if we have to wait until next Friday.

Yes back "in the day" as the hip kids say Wink it was always word of mouth on the terraces or the occassional leak in the Adver, and then in the 90s it was Clubcall, otherwise you heard nothing.
