Good if true and perhaps in Brown’s mind, may cover left back too - even if he’s simply a left footed centre back. Young enough to get a lot more self assured. Not the “warrior type” but an improvement on what we have.

Well JT was (once) at a "Premiership" Club and is an "International" (u 20).
Not sure on his tackling, let alone heading, abilities. He certainly did look accomplished at times and was an STFC player of the season. Also, he will have gained in experience since last he was here.
As above, I'm not sure he is what Brown said he was looking for but he will at a minimum be a useful addition to the squad. Hopeful for more.

Doughty won't leave us at the moment, if he does it will be the end of the season at the earliest, he has already stated how much he loves it at the club. That is unless he has had a falling out with PB which seems unlikely.

I doubt he'd go to a northern club. Brentford would be a possibility as I think he is London based and likes to play for teams who play passing football.
