Didn't the £400,000 fee for Luongo turn out to be the amount Tottenham would automatically recoup from his future sale (in addition to the 50% sell-on), rather than an actual fee we paid up front for him?

Don't know if it has any bearing, but Charlton have just signed Lee Novak.

Probably not as they're on a rebuild. However, I still expect another team to come in.

Up front, Charlton have got two 18-year olds (one is being looked at by Prem teams) along with Tony Watt, George Tcudean and Igor Vetokele (possibility of all three leaving),

Very different style of player to Ajose, it seems they are revamping the whole team.

They will be a force to be reckoned with next year if Ajose does indeed sign for them.

Reading on their forum their fans seem to think the deal will be hijacked by a Championship side and dont seem overly confident he will indeed sign for them.

what I mean is, if we really pay 400k for vigs - which I doubt - 400k left to replace ajose less wherever power doesn't reinvest is a bit disappointing as a fan.

but I do like the twitter  suggestion the vigs deal would be tied up in a way that other loans follow Smiley

I was thinking that yesterday that I wonder if part of the deal will see a couple of season long loans from Liverpool again.

Have they got any hot-shot young strikers?

I think Vigs has the potential to go further than L1 tbh

Perhaps with the input of a different goalkeeping coach we will see an improvement this season in Vigs.

How would you know that when you've never seen him play?

It's not like replacing a player where there are literally hundreds to choose from. Very small pool of available GK coaches.

What's Fraser up to now the training ground's sorted?

Vigouroux improved so much in the time he played this season, I expect him to get better and better as seasons go on.

Totally agree. His first full season as a pro and at times looked like he had been playing for years.
