I see they are polishing their turd of a ground as, surprise surprise, there seems to be a hitch with the new owner and the mythical new stadium at UWE. The more I hear about some of the nouveau club owners, the more I think Power and his 'like it or lump it' approach is somewhat refreshing - albeit frustrating. |

I think Wes Thomas was a little unfortunate in his brief time with us and I think he will score goals, I just hope he doesn't do it against us in the derbies!
With Ajose soon to depart, that only leaves us with Obika (who is in his last year of his contract), Hylton and I guess Jordan Stewart! We need at least two frontline strikers in who can get 30-40 goals between them this season.

Wes Thomas hasn't done much for years...goes to a club scores a few and then gets injured. Sort you take in hope rather than expectation, bit like when the Scum took a punt on Will Hoskins.... |

Scored 2 in 6 for us before a hamstring injury and yes granted he does seem to have had a few injuries but at 29 if he can be got fit I think he will score 15-20 goals, wages may have been an issue for us as we dont seem to have much of a budget so I guess Oxford have greater resources currently. Will be interesting to see how he does, hope he doesnt score against us

I'd doubt he'd want to come here anyway after what happened. It was nobody's fault and he may well realise that himself, but he would still would not have exactly left the club having had a good experience.
