Seems to be floating around on SM that we paid £75k for Hope?

I would be surprised if it was that much, maybe half that or £50k at most judging by the comments from Carlisle.

We probably had to buy out his contract until the end of the season which at the "alleged" £1.8k is around £30k.

The video on Twitter he posted there are some amazing strikes from well outside the box and volleys too, he knows how to hit a ball cleanly (most of the time!).

The 2 videos highlight the vastly different levels of service received by Doyle and Hope. Hope had to create many of the goals himself (often far out) as you state.

Wellens seems to like him (which helps  Wink) "his finishing is very good and he’s an aerial threat at the back post".

He looks like he can head a ball which isnt bad for a 5 foot 10 winger/striker. We need more of an werial threat in the box at this level for attacking and defending set peices, its a major downfall against sides like Colcheseter/Bradford/Newport etc.

Impressively quick addition to the squad following the Yates shock.  RW and team looking like they had done their "contingency planning"  Did note the CUFC tweeter's comment about his "right footedness".  Our playmakers will have to factor that in asap, amongst HHs other quirks good and bad..  It's starting to become a stressy time of the season now in terms of results and I hope the fans give the lad time to settle and every encouragement.  All in all a promising addition and just 25 and permanent.  Hopefully we have an option to extend the 18 months.

Yes, he was a bit shit for us but decent(ish) elsewhere in his career.

Mark stood little chance coming into our 99/00 set up.   Made a career though, including winning a case exposing Gilingham as a nasty little club.

Yep. After the two CBs, only Woolery is decent in the air. But then we also use him for long throws too.

#rufc taking a look at striker Jerry Yates in training after recalling him from Swindon loan. Could keep him but a chance he’ll go out on loan again.

From a Rotherham Journo.

Would that mean he came back to Swindon as he was on an initial season long loan, or is that loan agreement now void?
