Hope is the 'attack minded player' that was mentioned before Yates' recall.

Don't remember him looking particularly good or bad, just remember him being a niggly bastard who pissed me off. So probably a good signing.

Sadly inevitable with some of the morons we have in our ranks, who also happen to be the most vocal. Have we had anyone mention the ‘Luongo money’ so far today?
He scored 14 goals last season in a side that finished 11th...whilst he’s not on fire this season he seems exactly the type of player Wellens could get goals out of.
A good start to the final part of the transfer window assuming he is followed up with at least one other striker.
Multiple times from the Cheltenham mouth breather. Sent from my CLT-L09

Hope is the sort of thing we can get ie someone who hasn't ripped up trees this season.... now we need to hope Wellens can waft his magic wand and turn him into regular goalscorer.

Sounds like Kyle Vassell at Rotherham is out for a couple of weeks with a groin strain and that's the reason for Yates recall. Not sure where that leaves us as in a couple of weeks the window will be closed so doesn't look too positive in terms of getting Yates back.

Rotherham gaffe rhas acknowledged Yates didn't particularly want to go back.... but relatively speaking not that many games left and Millers have a very good cjhance of getting to Div 2, so entirely understandable they want to use their assest.

What I love about that is the confidence of him turning his back on the ball as soon as it left his foot. What a cunt. Ideal. Likes an assist too. In 7 weeks (Nov 30th - Jan 15th), he has had 4 assists. So a rate slightly better than 1:2 in that time frame. Minutes played in that time are 706, so just shy of 8 matches by 14mins. Still just shades better than 1 assist every 2 games. I assert, in that time frame. Maybe he's coming into form but it's just what you want from a attacking left winger. I think he'll fit our style quite well. Now go get that striker!

Although Wellens doesn't need to do this, even if he has a 1 in 4 (for Carlisle) SR, mostly from the wing. Assists is more Hope's thing. 4 in the last 8 matches (or 1 in 2 if you like). A handy provider to have and suggests he's coming into form. I think we could stick Adam Hills up front and we'd get the goals we need to get us over the line. Understandably would like someone in the mold of Doyle/Grigg/Gary Kasparov. Now Kasparov, he really was a magician.
