Christ, how many goals will there be at Wrexham on Saturday? Hope we’ve got at least a couple of players back.

Godwin-Malife looks particularly happy to get that win.

Well deserved win that. Hutton was electric but Brewitt!!!!! Young looks a player and what a winner. Much praise for Mahoney too who pulled off many a fine moment.

Well, well, well! Didn’t see that at 1/2 time!

Thought the ref had a mare. Penalised FGR much more than us.

FBT got us out of jail there.

Proper dirty ground out win that.  Doesn't matter how we do it as long as we get the results

Much better discipline in the second half, even before the sending off, but still not perfect - although you can accept some more of the risk taking when a man up.

We look very ropey with our final ball at times and Austin isn't quite firing, but much better at creating the opportunities for that final ball.

That was basically like one of the Gav Gunning/Mildenhall games from last season, all over the shop at times in the first half (in terms of shape), a little too gung ho leaving big gaps.  Bit more pragmatic until the sending off and then took the foot off the brakes again but had the joy of an extra man on the pitch.

Certainly more to work with than we had in May.  Still really missing those three or so players down the spine to make us a good team I think.

Good result, especially given how it could have gone.

Good win but we need a striker that can score and create.  Austin look slow and spends too much time in his own half so not there for the breaks.

A game we could have lost and been down to ten men quite easily but pleased with the turn around and far more confident in our squad and the way we play compared to last season. Just need the injured players to get back as soon as possible plus another couple of bodies to strengthen the team and it could be a far more optimistic outlook than even three weeks ago.

An aside - three games in a row we've had 20 shots or more. Can't imagine that's happened often before.

Can only imagine Mad Gav got binned from the coaching team for being too conservative!

Flynn:
- Made hard work of it
- Started slowly.
- Moved ball to slow and played into their trap
- Started to get on top after 30 mins
- If more clinical we would have won Saturday and today comfortably
- Sending off made it easier
- They nearly caught us on the break as we were sloppy
- We have had just over 1000 passes and 20 shots again
- The finishing touch and end product has been wasteful
- We were shooting when bodies in the way or crossing when noone in the box
- There is work to do
- Delighted at his first win at STFC. Fans were awesome, as could see effort and determination
- Austin frustrated. Joked with Austin we had 21 shots and 11 off target. Flynn said that the 11 were Austins
- FBT has scored one or two of those. Unbelievable left foot
- Khan has bone bruising. Will be back for the weekend
- Genesini: Ward had back spasm. Thought Genesini would be better against their set up
- RHM may be back for Saturday
- Light on numbers tonight. Young bench
- They were tired becasue we nearly turned it into a basketball game again
- Tried to stop UGM from cutting inside and going forward at the end

Two games in and could make at least semi valid arguments we could be have won/draw/lost either of them and be on anything between 0-6 points!
