Which is why Reading are so desperately forcing rivalries with teams. Their traditional rivals are Aldershot.

So I’m not disputing your statement. However, are you 100% sure ‘why Reading are so desperately forcing rivalries with teams?’ Can you expand on who ‘Reading’ are? The club? Or the fans?

I’m not trying to be a pedantic twat. Allegedly being a Right Wing Facist & Racist Tory Cunt I don’t need to be. I do like to at times drill down to where statements originate from. In this case I doubt it is the Guardian, Independent, Daily Mirror or any Far Left rag. I’ve not read anything in the Big Issue I purchase from the poor East European lady who sells them where I work

Looking at Reeding as a club AKA the catchment area and the ground it makes me think about our beloved STFC. In our wildest dreams with what we have in terms of catchment area, footprint (yes that means the ground, T/E car parke etc) what can we achieve? We’ve been in the PL once. Look what it did to us.. I’d say on what I have said puts us just ahead of Bournemouth.

Assume we become a Wiltshire version of Reeding, how long is that going to take? How much money? Where is that coming from?

I realise my post has moved on a bit from the post I was referring to but over the last few weeks I have been asking myself a lot of questions about my blind loyalty to this club.

The fans of Reading. They're essentially Rival-less. I'm not even sure if they've played the pheonix club of their traditional rivals Aldershot.

Spotty virgin Reading fans who weren't even born the last time we played them sing about us. Its.....weird.

More than Luton, Rotherham in the Championship.

Only 3 clubs in L1 got more today, Bolton, Charlton and Ipswich.

To put it in perspective I thought Rotherham's was a good attendance so you can see what potential we have.
