As long as neither Argentina nor France wins it.

France because Mbappe- the shots of him laughing after Kanes penalty miss. Cunt.

Argentina because Argentina. Cunts.

He’ll be fine, he isn’t black so the twitter gestapo will find someone else to blame.

I wouldn't be so sure - even before the penalty last night he had received the most negative tweets of any England player.

I can think of one team in North London that won't be forgiving

I’d rather have Southgate in charge than tuchel or pochettino as being rumoured.

Tuchel would never buy into “team FA” or fit within the current structure. Pochettino is one of the most overated managers on the planet

I think Poch is great, but the idea of bringing him in to get a talented side to get over the final hurdle and win stuff is... well, interesting.

My only criticism from last night was I wanted Southgate to bring on Rashford & Madison when we had them on the back foot midway through the second half.

Success at club level is not necessarily a prerequisite for managing a national team. They are two entirely different beasts.

Lampard or Gerard might be a good fit for England & both are capable of dealing with the PR / political elements of the role.
Cooper of Forest has had tournament success in the England setup before & could be a good shout.
Worth it for the (anti)social media reaction as well.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Can't see any manager in employment taking it so that leaves Gerrard, and it would be quite the admission that he had failed as a club manager to take it now. Maybe Dyche as he is on the rock n roll or as a bit left field maybe Rodgers whilst in work has the ego to take it?

If we want to win something - you have to look at Mourinho.

It’ll be ugly but he’s always won things, no matter the hand dealt*

Mourinho = loose canon.
The suits at the FA would never go for that.

That leaves the door open for Eddie Howe when the Newcastle owners decide to go higher profile.
