Haven't seen any mention of McCormick so far. Presume he'll go out on loan regardless, but I'm guessing he's currently injured?

Holloway still hinting at bringing in more strikers in the Adver today, this could well hint at Westley and/or Raymond.

Raymond is an attacking midfielder though no?

(Never seen him play, going purely off Transfermarkt as a source)

I understand hes a very attack minded midfielder who can play all accross the midfield from wide left/right and sat behind the strikers in the hole. Likes to run with the ball.

He was quite highly rated at Palace. Wonder what happened.

Recovering from injury, getting more minutes with the yoofs.  My opinion is to expect him to return to the first team squad in a few weeks after the window closes.

Did feel for the 3rd years that they got no minutes in pre-season as for once we had done all our business early. Usually see the kids get minutes in your Supermarine/Melksham games. One of those things I suppose, they will have to do very well out on loan to get a pro deal you’d imagine.

Swindon have refused to release Botan Ameen for Iraq’s upcoming u23 training camp. The article says “The two clubs informed their players that they would only be allowed to join during international breaks, meaning it will not be available to them until the next international break at the beginning of next September, which will coincide with the start of the Asian qualifiers for the U-23 teams.”

The same Iraq journo has also stated “ BREAKING - UPDATE: Swindon Town are weighing up a potential sale of Botan Ameen, with a significant fee on the table, prompting the club to fully utilize him in pre-season to maximize value.”

So is this how Holloway is looking at the squad? Not including Delaney, Butterworth, Minturn or the youths here, all of which seem to be available if they can find a move.

I just don't know how I would wittle that down to 11 players. Nice problem for Holloway to have though. Agree on the players who may be allowed to leave...
