If true, not surprised.
I should add...not accepted yet.

Moonraker saying 2 year deal with a 1 year extension offered to Ameen.

Maybe they could add a clause that says an offer of at least x amount would allow him to talk to potential buyers, may make him more inclined to sign

I doubt he will sign, there is so much interest in him, his agent will tell him to go elsewhere.

He is with New Era agency

I think there's a chance he signs a contract with clauses allowing him to go for a set fee - a season involved in the first team here would help his development no doubt.

Bit of chat about Ripley looking for a club further north. (seems a bit of a recurring theme) I've been impressed with him, his kicking isn't amazing but his general goalkeeping attributes seem to be good for L2. I would imagine he probably wants to be in a promotion chasing side, and I'm not sure under our current owners he's going to get those guarantees.

He'd make a terrific number 1 for the next couple of seasons. Looks like the reliable keeper we've been looking for for some time.

He was interviewed and at the moment he travels here his partner is not come with him due to kids, he also has a couple of young children from a previous relationship that he does not see often but if he was here permanently it would make it tough for him to see them.

He did not rule out staying just it would have to enter his thought process about seeing the kids

Was it Lee Camp that was here for a few months that trained separately elsewhere & only travelled down on a Friday for Saturday games. Not that it’s ideal (especially long term) but wonder if something like that is an option. The bigger issue is that it wouldn’t help with the development of the younger keepers

Fuck all to lose playing him in a totally meaningless fixture.

Bit of discussion about this in the MotM Thread so next season...

Under contract: (13)
Redman Evans

Tunmise Sobowale
Billy Kirkman
Joel McGregor
Sonny Hart
Will Wright
Ryan Delaney
Harrison Minturn

Ollie Clarke
Gavin Kilkenny
Jaxon Brown
Danny Butterworth

Harry Smith

Pretty much certain to leave: (6)
Johnson, Khan, Uwakwe, Dworzak, Hall, Kanu

Up for debate (18)
Bycroft, Cain, Glatzel, Drinan, Cox, Ripley, McGurk, Ofoborh, Mitchell, Ameen and the other 2nd year scholars (Hutt, Chard, McCormick, Stewart, Obodo, Alston, Gonzalez-Birchall, Britchford-Stanley)

Loans expiring (5)
Freckleton, Cotterill, Nicholls, Westley, Tshimanga

It's not bad, is it? Clearly need a few, but there's a spine there.

Up for debate: Would like to see Bycroft, Glatzel, Drinan, Cox, Ripley, Ofoborh, Mitchell, and Ameen plus the other 2nd year scholars (Hutt, Chard, McCormick, Alston, and Gonzalez-Birchall) all return.

Loans expiring: I would expect an offer to be made for Nicholls and perhaps for Freckleton who has looked a prospect since returning from injury.
