He could mean the break clause requires all 3 to agree before it can be added, and that the "must be able to re-loan" clause is this loan specific. Maybe?

Moonraker saying Ameen is now with the first team for the rest of the season and we may offer a pro deal earlier than usual to him.

"The Moonraker understands the same arrangement is in place for each of the loanees signed during the summer."

So same for Barden if we did sign another keeper. And explains why there's no talk of returning Tshimanga!

Ah thanks, I haven't caught up with the Moonraker yet. Er, yeah.

Why on earth did we agree to that?

So, if the loan player is decent & there is interest higher up the pyramid - they can break the clause & send him out again…but…if he’s shit we have to keep him.

Also, how does that work if say the parent club want to recall their player to you know actually play him in their team? I guess they couldn’t break the loan because another loan else where wasn’t agreed?

Unless it was to prevent the scenario of them recalling them if they are doing well (as we have had in the past) so we can get to keep them.

However, if we loan a player form a team higher up the pyramid & refuse to return them in January, that team are unlikely to send us someone else in the future so the power is still with them.

Good of Sheffield United to humiliate THEIR player by basically saying we don’t want him either.

Kennedy was desperate to get Tishmanga in and their chairman was quite vocal about not letting him go on the cheap - so you assume that is why they don't want him to return as they don't want to pay his wages.

Surely you insert a clause though and it is the risk you take if they do well, the risk of having many 'season' long loans

Makes financial sense for them if they were just waiting to release him.  Most loans include a fee that we have to pay, reduced based on appearances.  If we keep him and don't play him, they get some money.

He signed a two year deal last summer tho so they’ve got him for another year/have to find a way to offload him regardless.

I suspect they may be calling our bluff on the "we won't play him again" bit - considering our defensive injury crisis, it's hard to imagine a fit Freckleton wouldn't have played Tuesday ahead of a 17 year old at least.

If we cannot send him back without penalties, then he stays until EOS. If we have to play him to avoid more penalties then I suggest he’ll play once we’re safe. I could be talking bollocks but in our dire financial state anything is possible. Our priority is League survival, however that’s achieved is anyone’s guess. Though I have a warm feeling about our basket case manager.
