Indeed, just 3 inches taller but, much like Dracula and Bycroft, scared of crosses also.

At what stage do we start worrying about Holloway having not signed for next year and Bristol Rovers in trouble?

His trainers, not his boots.

In context what he says ain’t a dig in the slightest.

About now, I think. Let’s hope the delay in an announcement is the club playing around with season ticket renewal announcements. Lots of other clubs have announced renewal prices, so we can’t be far off.

Rovers that’s a good shout- I bet they’re interested. Would he want to go  back to somewhere he is already a legend or make new history with us? I bet he’s negotiating hard to get things right if he does stay - or his agent.

I can’t see Bristol Rovers being an option as they’ve not long appointed a new manager.

It is season ticket renewal time. They went on sale to actually purchase March 12th last year. The announcement was March 1st.

I'm not concerned there's an issue, but I suspect they are ironing out some last minute details so that's it's all done she suggested before announcing it with STs.

In which case, it must be close

The last few pressers Holloway has hinted (I think at least) that he's waiting for some behind the scenes promises including possibly having a reserve side? I think he realises the strength of his negotiating position now, he's bailed Clem out of the shit big time but if he walks away and says the club isn't ambitious enough then it's straight back in the shit with BBQ sauce.

He'll never have a better hand than he does before he signs a new deal.

Yeah, sorry, agree. I wasn't clear but I was referring to his contract being close.
