Still think we keep going into games with an unbalanced, shapeless midfield. It feels like Reed as holding. Everyone else, anywhere.
It’s Payne and Williams, two non-combative, wider players, playing centre mid that’s the slight discomfort for me… looking forward to them both bossing it.

It’s Payne and Williams, two natural wide players, playing centre mid that’s the slight discomfort for me…
Payne has always stated he thinks his best position is central attacking midfield, but then Iandolo thinks his best position is left back. Evidence suggests both are wrong.

More likely to be Payne deeper, more alongside Reed with Williams behind Simpson and McKirdy isn't it? That or Williams and McKirdy making a 3 with Simpson.

I’d rather see a flat back 4 and 2 holding.

Yeah, underwhelming stadium. Trade off between prime location behind goal and to the left but no view of corner flag beyond 18yard box. No worries. Three points and move on.

TBH I would too, Grant and Reed in front of a back 4 for me, certainly in away game.

I worry that Garner hasn't seen enough of Baudry yet to know how many mistakes he has in him. I hope he proves me wrong, but I haven't seen a single good game from him in 15 months or more.

Messed up timings. Currently due to arrive at 1940 at West Sutton. Any room left on the terrace.

Garner complaining about refereeing decisions (including throw ins being taken in the wrong place) on the radio. We've not had a proper stinker really have we? Got lucky on a few if anything. Feels a strange drum to be banging already.

I concur totally, although for me he hasn't played very well since January 2019.
