That's democracy.

If it goes through I bloody hope they are right. Sincerely.

I just hope if it does get rejected, it's 50% + against. Being rejected on two third in favour would be  correct per the rules, but just looks silly.

Good point. Need a legitimate result one way or the other.

The only way I’d vote Yes is if it was stated that would hasten a sale, although if it came from Clem & co I probably wouldn’t believe it anyway

Hello, it's the other Trust chap on here that isn't Bennett. Quite simply, as a board we represent our members, so in this regard we're being led by the predominant views of our members once the final vote count is in. We've collected questions from the fans, passed them onto the Club for them to answer and then it's up to our members to decide on what's been presented to them. Hope that clears it up a little.

(Probably said members too many time there tbh)

I see James Phipps has now wrote an open letter and said he will be voting yes.

They’re wheeling them all out.
Way to close to Morfuni to take anything from him backing it.

When MC wotzee posted his nonsense about about fictional 32% increase in marketing revenue on LinkedIn he was in the comments congratulating him, which suggests any judgement based on his backing needs to be taken with a large pinch of salt.

And just to add in the words of the Trust chair, Neil, because he's definitely done a better job of expressing our position...

Quote
I think it’s important though we explain why we’re not taking a position and recommending anything to the members.

There’s several reasons for that:

This is one those topics that is emotional, different people look at it in different ways and I don’t think it’s right that 8 individuals who sit on the trust board should try and influence that. I think people has listened to the arguments and listened to the information that the club have put out recently, and they’ll have a view on whether they’re in support of it or not.

I think the other thing that’s worth baring in mind is this vote is binding on the trust board and it’s binding on the trust’s representatives to the JV as well. So myself (Neil Hutchings) and Chris Howell the trust secretary sit on the JV as the directors representing the supporters. It would be very difficult for the trust and myself and Chris to deliver the will of the trust membership if we’ve come out one way of the other in advance of the vote.

Some of our fans are giant members, in fairness.

Wow, that bloke really has no spine does he, all his bollox while involved with the Trust about Clem not being trustworthy and now climbs up Clem's arse and asks...is this high enough !

Anyway, who gives a shit about his opinion anyway.
