This is the problem, no official news just leads to speculation.

One of them on the facebook group claiming season tickets arent being announced yet until people know if they are moving seats due to redevlopment We dont even have planning permission yet as the plans havent even been approved by the JV and voted in. Plus im pretty sure planning wont be quick either?!? Think you will be waiting a while there fella Planning should be quick because there are no external structures. I can’t imagine the starting until after 25/26 though - logically in the summer

In fact I’m not even entirely sure why they would need planning - more a building control thing.

They will need whatever is necessary for public delays, like the fancy 28inch TV they want to install to show adverts, or was it a big screen?

A lot will depend upon what was actually granted consent in the first place in 1993(ish), it may actually be the case that what they want to do was boxed off by way of nthe already granted and implemented consent. I would be inclined to agree, but that really doesn't tie in with them using some pretty big hitting (and expensive) architects on the scheme.

The one thing I learned from the article is that the Club Secretary guy who left left to join... Eastleigh. Hmm.
A more senior position at a club (currently) one step below. Also will probably be doing the job he was employed to do, rather than picking up several jobs as seems to be the case at Town
Our replacement here is going to be very important IMO, if just the secretary role is filled, we're in for all sorts of fun and games.

Moonraker:
Holloway convinced he will be here next season (whilst talking about himself in the third person). Contract agreed by all parties but not signed yet.
Season ticket announcement next week.
No formal discussions of player contracts until after the last game.

From the presser:
In my role without Jamie Russell here there is a little bit of a hole and I need to fill that. I should be on the grass making sure the team is good, and the kit and pitches and things are for someone else.
Sounds like someone will come in as sporting director then. Could have been one of the reasons why Holloway has taken to so long sign a contract. Can't imagine Clem would have wanted to fill that role.

Holloway said previous he had someone lined up but had to work their notice at another club - so depends how long their notice period is, assuming it is someone for this role

That was for the role of data analyst he said in the same interview.

Possibly explains why he rambles in interviews so much!

I read this as, the budget that would have been allocated for the DOF role needs to be utilised to get him some help to deal with the day to day stuff that he doesn't need to be involved with that maybe the DOF dealt with previous. So maybe they are looking at bringing somebody in for a less senior role to deal with those things, working alongside this new Data Analyst that is working his notice. Hired as Holloway's support network and likely using less of the DOF budget, but who knows.

I wouldn’t mind betting that Morfuni didn’t realise the pre-emption rights exist. He now knows that he needs someone to give him an offer that is so large that the minority shareholders won’t match it, and hope that the prospective buyer ignores the fact he has just devalued his own company by admitting that the debt is greater than it’s value.
Tbh, this pretty much plays into Clem's hands. Why? Because the cunt doesn't want entertain any sale anyway {well not one that opens the chasm of skeletons within a bottomless closet}. The only sale he entertains is one that is sold within the same circles. If the Minogues decide to take pre-emption, he'll gladly accept - as it stays ''in-house'' somewhat. The number in their bank balances or on offer won't make a jot of difference. All that will happen is very similar in process {courts aside} to how Clem wormed himself into owning the club. Invest/buy an uncontrolling share. Then have pre-emption rights as investing more {no matter how foolishly at first}. Become owner of the club {if lucky you get it for even less than you'd ever dreamed of}. I can really only see the ''wives'' being the next official owners of the club. On that, what might be likely is that those current shareholders are probably are looking at investors {as reported recently} in order to put their own ducks in a row. No doubt if the ''wives'' buy the club. They'll then have their next ''15 percenter'' to invest at a point when they need the cashflow. Who we betting on for the next minority shareholder? Jewell? Nicholls? Power? The Official Ambassador of Pakistan? Kinahan...
