Was he on the board, was he ever on the baord before he took over? As for DD I suggest a huge part of our problem is that Power fucked up, Moefuni saw a chance to get the club for a song (Actually in both cases I suspect it was their advisors but that’s by the by) but had to move quickly and DD went out the window? Outcome being someone got the club cheap without the cash to run it and with limited knowledge of what a shit show they were actually buying
IIRC he was non-exec vice chairman at this stage (such a meaningless job title) so didn't sit on the board. I think he unilaterally funded certain items (like Ben Chorley, for example) but I think it's probably fair to assume he didn't have a Scooby about how the club was being run/funded until he took ownership.

Alternative viewpoint, the questions were all of a manner/wording that makes it incredibly easy for the club to claim commercial/personal confidentiality, it baffles me that some of the questioners really expected answers to the questions which can easily just be brushed off as commercially sensitive, likewise where things that are rumoured with no evidence are posed its very easy to just brush them away.
It would appear that this lot are our chosen architects https://kssgroup.com/ which suggests a few quid are being flung at it.
A lot of the questions I'm assuming you're referencing are ours, and very deliberately asked in a certain way. We can use the AB Q&A to leak stuff, even if they deny it. The arrogance and contempt in the answers is astounding but more astounding is that it's all in plain sight. They literally provide answers that contradict last month's.

Most of those questions and answers were a waste of time. However it was interesting to learn that Hall is paid through N5 Management Services of Swanley in Kent. Although he probably isn't if you look at his accounts up to December 2024.

Let's be honest. The AB has long since served any useful purpose, as shown by the change in Accounts format and subsequent avoidance of explaining it. They have every right to produce such accounts and clearly have no desire to say why.
I therefore assume most of the questions are designed to make life feel a little uncomfortable for the owner. A sort of dribble of things obviously at odds with the original stated aims, or calling out any shifting of position. The ultimate aim to make Clem accept offers if they come, or better still, go seek them. That is the only useful endeavour now anyway.

Did we learn that, it reads that someone asked a question based upon rumour and the club didn't answer, entirely understandably as they ain't going to start discussing peoples personal terms of employment in a public arena - none of us would accept our employer doing that. Albeit just to correct the company accounts were at 31/3/24 so it would only include c. 6 months of his 'CEO' time anyway? Let's be honest. The AB has long since served any useful purpose, as shown by the change in Accounts format and subsequent avoidance of explaining it. Totally agreed, its become a sham where the AB appears to be mainly just a resume of what the club claims to have done over the last month and then a run of attempted gotcha questions that the club bat away, albeit they could probably do so better if they spent more than 5 mins answering them. Waste of everyone’s time.

The responses make it crystal clear that we are dealing with some rather basic individuals.

The thing is they are used to getting their own way through threats, intimidation & bullying. When it comes to some kind of intellectual debate they are found wanting.

“No, we didn’t lie, we have just changed our answer to be the opposite of what we said before, even though we’ve had full possession of the facts at all times.”
I wouldn’t mind betting that Morfuni didn’t realise the pre-emption rights exist. He now knows that he needs someone to give him an offer that is so large that the minority shareholders won’t match it, and hope that the prospective buyer ignores the fact he has just devalued his own company by admitting that the debt is greater than it’s value.

Why does it need to be so large that the minority shareholders won't match? If he is ok to sell for X then it matters little who he sells to (for him)?

Probably means can’t match it as opposed to won’t match it.
Honestly, I dread to think what is being hidden from sight. To think, I was uplifted when Power got replaced, but the old adage of being careful for what you wish for has never rung truer.
Just for once, surely we deserve an honest owner.

Sam in the Moonraker today posing the question as to why everything seems to be on hold, from contracts (Holloway, Ameen) to ground development to season tickets. No answers, but the right questions.
The one thing I learned from the article is that the Club Secretary guy who left left to join... Eastleigh. Hmm.

One where in isolation you might think closer to home / family circumstances. Been too many for that conclusion though

Also will probably be doing the job he was employed to do, rather than picking up several jobs as seems to be the case at Town
