I think it’s somewhat fatigue with our fans as well.
How many times in the past have we protested & forced owners out just for the football club to continue stagnating (at best) or get worse.

Like the feeling is we will get Clem out & the next broke chancer in. Rinse & repeat.

Plus, even if we got good solid modestly affluent owners in - there is still the growing gap between the have & have not’s - our fortunes wouldn’t change over night & the best we could hope to achieve is getting to the dizzy heights of L1.

Definitely feel like this is the case. I think a lot just can't gear themselves up to protest yet another bad owner just to be in the same shit again inevitably further down the line.

This is the most dire its ever been though.

That’s completely unfair I’ve never heard him offer an opinion- it’s nice that sometimes people can keep their views to themselves in a world where most people are spouting off about one thing or another.

Staggering its the fans narrative.... people don't pay to watch poor football and feel its getting worse every season under Clem. Some fans need to get their head out of the sand unless there happy for us to swell the numbers of ex-league clubs stuck in the National League.

Be good if the BBC actually did a bit of investigative journalism

In fact, it would be good if any journalist did - its not as if the information isn't out there

On the walk back to the car, our group have started to talk about what we will do instead next year if we go down. it wasn't getting a season ticket.

That's what people need to remember when talking of going down and a clean slate. The club will shed a fair few. The resources (cash) aren't going to be there to walk it back to the EFL.

I also think the ratio of good:bad owners in England makes it difficult to even get excited by a new owner because probability wise they’re not going to drive the club forward, won’t have a bottomless pit of money to spend & only ever took the chance to buy a football club because they thought they would make some money out of it.

It’s just varying degrees of the same shit

BBC Radio Swindon should do better. They read out a text blaming the fans Saturday. You cannot tell me that is the only text they got.
Probably sent in by  Clem.

It wasn't and it wasn't the only text they read out. On my way home i heard them read out a lot, almost all negative. So lets not take one errant view as representative of the BBC.

I'm sure people are investigating the current situation, but despite the conjecture, rumour and half truths people think they know, proving anything is very very difficult. Hence the silence and frustration from the fan base.

I would say you can have shitty owners and still do okay on the pitch, see Lee Power. I'm not saying i want Lee back, but the point stands that if Clem had just employed better people it would do a much better job at covering whatever may or may not be happening behind the scenes.

The only thing the fans should be blamed for is turning up.

Yep, they need to change their mindset!

The club will actually have to do a season ticket push for once  Clap

I certainly wont be attending any games if we're in the National League, especially if Morphoney is still the owner. I think we'll be looking at gates of 3K.

We came to the conclusion we'd (me and the boy) do a few more away games, and the odd home game or two where we (the group) can meet up and keep in touch.

Man this is defeatist. Its not happened yet.
